I have had this printer for over a year and I'm ready to replace it. The worst problem is the paper jams. I have tried different paper and still the problem persists. I am down to hand feeding a piece of paper in when I need to print because it jams every time. The print head seems to clog a lot and I have to pretend I'm putting in a new cartridge to get it to work right again. The picture quality on all types of paper and settings is OK. Not great - not poor - but not up to my expectations. I've been a computer user for 20 years and this printer, by far, has had the most problems!!

Pros: perfect machine to distroy your ink, paper and patience
Cons: clogged heads,paper jam, slow handling, bad manual; Better spend your money in the pub !!!

Did not know I could be so angry!!
Hours and hours I spent to get good pictures.
I knew he printed me some before.
As you get it to work it prints marvelous photographs.
Mostly he distroys many A4's before you have your print.

Pros: Nice print quality when it works
Cons: Doesn't work properly very often - ink is ALWAYS clogged.

I'm not one to write these types of reviews - but I had to this time. This printer is miserable. When it works the print quality is great - but that's the problem WHEN it works - which is not very often. Right now I'm going through the head cleaning process for the 11th time today - the heads still aren't unclogged - good thing I don't need docs printed for an important meeting today - but believe me its happened many times. So save yourself a A LOT of grief and don't go with this printer. I am literally going to thrown mine out the window in about 10 minutes.

Pros: IT HAS FAIRLY GOOD READABLE INSTRUCTIONS
Cons: FOR ALL THE REASONS LISTED IN MY REVIEW

I USED OWN A HEWLETT PACKARD PRINTER AND I LIKED IT...
I AM SORRY THE DAY I PURCHASED THIS EPSON
I KNOW IS SUPPOSED TO PRINT OUT PHOTOS BUT THE COST IN INK IS PROHIBITIVE.
THE INK IS ALWAYS DRYING UP AND IT CAN BE A PAIN IN THE NECK WITH THE PAPER FEED...

I USED TO LOVE MAKING MY OWN GREETING CARDS.
THIS PRINTER HAS PROVEN TO BE VERY EXPENSIVE INK WISE
AND VERY AGGRAVATING TO USE. I NO LONGER MAKE MY OWN CARDS FOR THE ABOVE REASONS..

WILL NEVER PURCHASED AN EPSON AGAIN...

Cons: Guzzles ink, heads constantly clogged, ink is pricey.

I've had this printer for about a year, and I can't take it any more. I feel abused, violated, taken advantage of by this thing. The heads need constant cleaning, and cleaning uses up a lot of ink. Cleaning often clogs the heads even worse. The cartridges are small and expensive. They have a chip that disables them after a certain amount of use, whether they are really used up or not. I really believe that I have spent more time and ink cleaning heads than printing photos. I have so little to show for so much ink money and wasted time. I was going to give this away to a charity or thrift store, but I realized that I would be doing a disfavor to whoever would end up with it. I can't wait to slam my 925 into the trash.

Pros: Nice picture quality, when it printed right.
Cons: Drinks expensive ink, Clogs all the time, documents print too light.

I have had this printer over a year and it has never worked right. The instructions are terrible. Nothing seemed to work as it should.

Pros: NONE.
Cons: Drinks ink. Head cleaning required after nearly every page. Expensive ink.

This is simply the WORST printer EVER. Ink gets used so fast due to FREQUENT head clogging! EVERY OTHER FREAKIN' PAGE it needs cleaning. NEVER BUY AN EPSON PRODUCT.

I have bought two 925 printers over the last 4 years. Both of them the print head failed after the same length of time. Thats with following Epson instructions to the letter. I have had a total of 6 Epson printers over the last 10 years. They have all suffered the same fate. Never again will I buy Epson. Be warned!

This is the second printer I have had from Epson. The first one had frequent paper jams. The exchanged it for this one. Same type 925, but would you believe that I'm experiencing the very same problems with this one also.

Easy to install if you follow the instructions. Printed several 8x10 landscapes on Kodak paper, they are perfect. Tried printing portraits, very disapointing. called Epson they suggested changing ink cartridge. I instead decided to try Epson's best paper, that solved the problem. I have had the printer for 3 weeks and on my second ink cartridge. I am very happy with this product.

The set-up was easy and the additional software was good. Overall the printer worked fine. A printed image of a hard copy scanned in photo displayed graininess. The colors were slightly off possibly due to my equipment. The photos printed with it were overall the same quality as my HP 932c which it was going to replace. Better in some respects, worse in others. For the money, it should do much better than a printer that I bought 3 years ago. I am sending it back to the store and am going to buy a competitor's brand and not let another Epson Rep talk me into something else.

Generally, my expectations were higher. Ink Management is annoying. The cartridges have a chip so you can't refill them, the printer stops printing if either cartridge runs out of ink. I think the initial cartridges that come with the printer are "samples"; read the empty FAST and you get to order new ones. After replacing the color cartridge (in one month) photos don't appear to come-out as nice. Can't figure out whats going on (tried alignment).

I am very happy with this printer. The quality is excellent, very easy to use and set up. Definitely worth the money. Look for the rebates. Some stores are offering good incentives.

for the money it out do itself, again picture quality is excellent and the software is competable with adobe 7.0. Will recomend for profesionals and amateur!!!! that easy to use

WOW... I am stunned with how far print quality has come. The prints are professional grade with Epson paper. Being able to load my disk straight into the printer makes it very fast and fun to print photos on the spot. Features are easy to follow. I am very pleased with this printer!
