Pros: Movies without a television! Cons: Runs hot, really needs a dark room for best picture quality.
Although I haven't owned a TV in many years, I enjoy watching movies. When the prices of DVD projectors started to come down, I knew we'd be getting one to use for watching movies while enjoying all the comforts of home. (Specifically, cozy furniture ...

Pros: Small, small, small. Decent output in portable. Works for movies and presentations. Cons: Accessories and cables are too big.

Do Not Buy
by bnick_32 ,Aug 25 '06
Pros: Incredibly small, good picture. Cons: 100% defective rate on the unit I bought and its replacement.
I was originally amazed at how small the LP70+ was. Relative to the size the projector the picture quality is excellent. However, after less than 10 hours of viewing it stopped working. The power LED was turn on however it would only blink when I tried to power it on. Anomalies like that can happen so I had it replaced. The second projected did much better: it lasted 30 hours before dying in the exact same way.
Bottom line: this model has problems. If you are set on buying an Infocus projector (my last one worked fine), then buy a model with a better track record.

CAUTION...DO NOT BUY...!
by geoaboy ,Aug 18 '06
Pros: NONE Cons: MANY....! HOrrible customer service & tech support.
I have purchased 3 projectors from INFocus in the last year and have had nothing but problems. I have just had the LP650 projector returned after having it repaired (2nd time) and it took them 25 day to return it. Also, i have 2 LP70+ and have had nothing but problems. one being the remote control doesn't work and the brand new one i just bought (36 hours lamp usage) is cutting the characters off on the left hand side of the screen. I am going to have to send it in for repairs. The last LP70+ i sent in to them took them 21 day to return after the repair. They will not replace the brand new one. they will only give me a "refurbished" one. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE & TECH SUPPORT. i will NEVER buy any equipment from INFOCUS.
