I had been looking for a review that expressed mine when I stumbled across this site. I bought this model of set 2 years ago as a Christmas present for my wife. She was thoroughly satisfied until a month ago when the picture bounced around a couple of times and then forever disappeared. I, not having a warranty on this set anymore have been weary about taking it to a repair shop. I have a hard time stomaching a $200 bill for a $300 TV. Being that it is only 2 YEARS OLD! and from a company that I thought was a responsible one I should not have to. I would not recommend this TV to anyone who does not have money to burn.
I have owned RCA's in the past as a matter of fact I still own 2 smaller RCA's (19" & 13") and have had them for years with no problems. I have owned other model larger screen tv's with poor results and finally was able to get a 27" RCA and if anybody asked my view on which TV to buy I never hesitated to recommend RCA. I have owned this larger tv for a little over a year and it just went out on me! I cannot afford repairs or a new tv at this time. Believe me I will not recommend RCA to anyone!!! And I won't be buying this brand again!!!!!!
