Use it Everyday at the Gym! by okbound ,Oct 27 '04
Pros: Small, Lightweight. Battery Life. Cons: Headphones!!
This is a great MP3 player, with a great price. I use it everyday at the gym, including the treadmill. I forget it is even on my arm. Very light and small. The only problem is the headphones. I had to put my Sony headphones on my RCA. I also wore this MP3 for the entire Honolulu Marathon in 2003. The battery lasted the entire 7 hours and 15 minutes. (I didn't say I was fast!!)
Pros: compact, good price, easy to use, great display Cons: headphones aren't too secure on ears
This was received as a gift and has been great for my workouts. The armband is adjustable but earphones aren't the greatest. The display shows song name, artist and total play time. There is a lock switch to make sure buttons aren't accidentally hit while in use. Uses one AA battery. Mine currently holds 18 songs and can be expanded with a SD memory card.
Pros: sound, expandble memory, hold button, wristband Cons: feels flimsy(cheap),customer support, must play in order added to list,
ok after a weeks worth of review reading on the net i finally decided to buy this item...WOW it works great. this is my first MP3 player and it does averthing (just about) that i want it to do. If mp3 players get better than this, i dont wanna know.
one problem actually two problems that i have encountered are 1) the time display doesnt work. if the song is 3 minutes long the little counter on the display wont even move. it just stays at zero, so i dont know how long the song is or when it will end. that doesnt matter to much beacuse i already i have a mental idea, but still, i paid for something, it should work
2) when adding songs using windows meadia player it says that I only have 122.93 mb of memory. this is supposed to be a 128mb capacity player.
other than those two and no backlit...get this, only 89.99 at circuit city, though i rather buy from best buy, they dont sell it.
Pros: Easy to set up and load. Cons: Plays for at least 10 seconds and then shuts off.
Setup was fairly simple, except that Musicmatch program on disk is an older version. Seems to work very well except for a major problem......it suddenly turns itself off. The Lyra, brand new out of the box, will not play continuously. Any suggestions?
