i have owned sony, onkyo, and denon receivers. this da4-es is by far the cleanest sounding of any that i have used. i compared it to yamaha, pioneer elite, and the onkyo 800 and i feel like i made the right choice after getting it home and putting it through my HT torture test. definitely the best bang for the buck. also very important... sony has great warranty no matter who you buy from (as long as it has a serial number) highly recommended.
