When StarCraft first came out, Blizzard was a well-known company. It had succeeded with WarCraft and WarCraft II. Having played both these games, I was pretty sure that StarCraft was going to be a good, if not a great, game. The first time I played this game, I was blown away. Not only did Blizzard take StarCraft to top of the gaming world, but a whole new level. The game has a pretty good single-player campaigns with a great and FREE multiplayer option. Of course, if you're not much of a campaign fan, you can always play custom maps, which is what I do. But what surprised me the most was the multi-player option. Not only can you play with your friends and compare your skills in StarCraft, but you can play Map Setting games that allow you to use different skills. This is a game every true gamer must have.

Pros: Complex game, with many options. Makes every game different.
Cons: People online are good and I have yet to win online.

I love watching the Korean pro games on youtube. I had to buy this game, even if it was 10 years old.
