Pros: ...? Cons: Rocky Mountain RMR-S201 Phazer II
It's sort of funny actually... There are four bands that can be jammed... X, K, Ka, and also laser. There are laser jammers that do work, the best two are the Escort ZR-3 and the Bel Laserpro 904... Other than that, there aren't any devices on the market ...

Pros: absolutely none Cons: allows radar guns to detect your car easier
This is the worst attempt to con the poor unfortunate speeder I have ever seen it is utterly useless. My buddy has a radar gun, so I figured since I just bought my Phazer I would give it a quick test. So I drove by him at 35 mph in the parking lot and ...

Pros: None that I can really think of. Cons: It just doesn't work.
OK, let me try and clear a few things up seeing as how some members took it upon themselves to be the "epinions Police" and go rate ALL my reviews as unhelpful. Like I said before, I have THREE friends that own these "detectors" and not one of them even b ...

I LOVE IT
by hootenanny ,Jan 10 '05
Pros: If this one fails I will surely get another. Cons: I haven't found a thing bad to say about it yet.......
I wasn't sure about this product at first by some negative things I read about the PHAZER II but let me tell you after having it over a year now all I can say is "it sure made a believer out of me. I love it. Need I say more. would give it an A rating. Now all I need is a new power cord. Living in "Radar Alley" a five mile stretch of road of radar traps I thank myself for buying a Phazer II. I made my mind up to buy one after a trooper pulled me over not knowing that my radar detector wasn't working properly. Now I don't have to worry about trying to slow down to the proper speed like I would with a regular radar detector.

This thing is waaaaaaayyyyy better than Valentine One!!!!
by mpoozerbear ,Jan 16 '07
Pros: See above Cons: The hell of being apart from my little matte black box for extended periods
This thing is freakin' fantastic! It renders the my car completely invisible - I've gone past state troopers and city constables alike at 150+ mph - even in the city with 30 mph traffic - and the police act like zombies, oblivious to my warp-speed shenanigans. I've also found that its magical properties have mysteriously added 30 mph to my top speed and that because the car is invisible to even itself (I know this sounds a bit far-fetched, but bear with me), I no longer need to add gas to the tank. It's totally transformed my life and I've ditched my best friend and wife for the sublime comfort and solitude of being alone with its melodic electronic "hummmmm." Lately I find myself physically attracted to this matte black box. I can feel its desire for me as we share secluded drives on forbidden roads...just me and my box.
Don't spend the money it takes to make this little pleasure box a part of your life unless you're ready to have your life re-focused and re-ordered. It'll take control.

Pros: It's small / light - easy to hide. Cons: Does not work.
I bought the unit in July 2007 - and used it in conjunction with a very good radar detector.
I obviously had a false sense of protection. And was even scared a few times after being followed by police for what I thought was due to the reaction their radar to the "Jammer". But it was not the Phazer II that got their attention... it was the car !! Eventhough I was not speeding.
So upon recently getting a speeding ticket - and After my unsuccessful negotiating attempts for a speed reduction.
I simple asked the state trooper if his radar has reacted in any way???
He said NO - that his radar never even blinked.
Great. I have no confidence on the devise.
And I am sure the company will not pay the ticket.

This thing is the bomb!
by michaelandolga ,May 25 '05
Pros: Best electronic device ever produced; manufactured with love by Zen craftsmen who care. Cons: Absolutely none - a bargain at twice the price!
Ever since I purchased my Phazer I have been going balls to the wall! It has worked so well I finally just unplugged my detector (Radio Shack) and left it at home - where it's currently gathering dust. I routinely fly by state police (Illinois), city and county police, etc. - I have even cut off Mayor Daley's motorcade during a parade and they utterly fail to notice me!
In February I was driving 120 mph in an ice storm on I-94. The Illinois State Police were out in force, but they couldn't catch me because I had my Rocky Mountain Radar Phazer II.
If ever there was a license to speed, this it it, folks!

It does not work!
by nicknitro71 ,Jul 05 '05
Pros: None Cons: It does not work
Please save your money! I got two speeding tickets while using the Phazer II: one I got clocked with laser and one with radar. The funny thing is that they claim that they will pay your tickets, not true either. They have restrictions like the violation cannot exceed 10 mph over the posted speed limit: one was 21 over and one 23 over.
This is a gimmick. Save your money and get a Valentine 1.

waste of good plastic
by carinc ,Apr 07 '09
Pros: power cord works Cons: would have gotten more for my money if I wiped my butt with it
The first week I had this glorified soda bottle stuck to my windshield I got a ticket. I realized that I looked like a real horses butt with this stupid looking junk box in my car and was even more convinced when the cop even told me, (as he was laughing), "You paid for this crap!" The biggest waste of money I ever spent.

Thested this unit with my...
by gopher_dt3000 ,Sep 05 '02
Thested this unit with my friends at the local police. Works as advertised. Punch through happens at around 200 ft. That is when the radar gun can read the speed. Until that time, the radar gun reads ERROR.
