Pros: Leading licorice liqueur. Virtually no comparison.
Cons: Bad aftertaste, sometimes too strong, makes me sick if i drink a lot.

Summary: As with any liqueur, you have to be smart in realizing whether you may like it or hate it before buying it. If your not a licorice person, then this drink definently isn't for you. It by no means is watered down or slightly flavored. Sambuca is the ... read more

    Cons: black licorice taste, potent

Pros: Unique flavor and great after dinner drink
    Cons: Very heavy

Summary: Sambuca is perhaps one of the most unique liquors I have ever tasted. It is by far, a very heavy and stout tasting drink. Generally, it is served in a small glass. If you happen to be in an Italian restaurant, they may drop three coffee beans into it, as ... read more

    Pros: Cheaper than Oozo
    Cons: not quite the same

Summary: This is a wonderful liquor that is very much reminiscent to the Greek favorite Oozo. At least it has that fabulous candy licorice flavor. It's really quite potent and very warm as it goes down your throat leaving the flavor licorice ... read more

Cons: bottle purchased in Texas October 2009 had an "off flavor."  Old and/or improperly stored?
