Update, June 9th 2003
After a couple of weeks with this monitor, I have to say that I continue to be quite happy with it. One discovery I made was that, unlike my crappy old 17" monitor, this monitor is sharp enough that I notice the...
Pros: Damn cheap - 19 inch - Flat Cons: Not bright - Unsharp.
DISSERTION This is a Flat Screen CRT Monitor. I usually prefer CRT because of the present color issues of LCD monitors. For instance if you go to a computer shop you will see that it is hard to find two different LCD monitor displaying the same ...

First of all. My first epinion got deleted. I hope that not only positive epinions are welcome...right? :/ Problems: Glow around objects (really annoying) It's to bright and gives you a headache. Double icons, text, cursors (well everything). I see ...
Definitely not a flat screen by masterb8 ,Nov 22 '04
Pros: 1600x1200 native resolution, excellent refresh rates, additional features, nice looking monitor. Cons: Not flat screen, sometimes picture gets skewy up top (not common).
I was pretty clueless as to all the different manipulations of the screen, but I do like the monitor. Like has been mentioned, cranking up the resolution to 16X12 drives the eyes crazy with the really small fonts everywhere. I just leave it on 1024x768 for this stuff and 16x12 for gaming.
I bought this for gaming, specifically so I could do my thing at native 16x12. Far Cry was pretty impressive this way with a 6800GT, versus my days with the eMachines 17" and FX 5200 PCI.
The 'flat screen' claim is a farce. Basically a flat piece of plastic in front of the regular monitor screen. I do like the MagicBright feature for when things get a little too dark while gaming. Just as well, I can tone things down while on the internet and not shooting 'em up.
Even for as big as it is, this monitor's features beats the pants off the LCDs and equivalent. CRTs still have a few years before the slim things can compete on a feature basis. I l-eye-ke being able to keep an excellent refresh rate at high resolutions. ;)
Sometimes the upper screen gets slightly wobbly.

When I bought this monitor, I expected a totally flat monitor, like the Syncmaster 700NF, which I also own and love... Still a great monitor after you use the included software to set it up...(mouscreen is great..)
I wish I spent the extra $100. and bought the 900NF
