I have had this for some time now and I only wish I would have bought it earlier.
With 8 mega pixel+ camera or a DSLR and shooting RAW files you generate a lot of megabytes - this adapter can transfer a gigabyte in seconds which results in less wasted time or telling impatient folks to wait. I use it with SanDisk 4gb Ultra II CF cards or larger, and keep it in my bag when travelling.
My only design wish is if SanDisk would drop the transfer button thingie (I don't use it) and replace it with a built-in USB plug and card bay lid; so I can take it in my bag and not worry about cables and dust so much. But the current design is good and I'm very happy with the product.
