Pros: Very small size, fairly quick, inexpensive Cons: didn't want to work right at first, but problem was fixed
I recently began work with a new company and they provided me with a laptop, which was great because I could work from home and not be tied to my PC. However, since I have slightly better software on the PC than the laptop (and it's easier to use ...
Pros: Size of drive, easily pocketable. Cons: More expensive than other USB Drives. Lanyard and USB caps cheap and flimsy.
Brand name... check. Small size... check. Nice looking... well good enough. Decent amount of file space... 512MB is not too shabby. Smaller than the average USB key... double check! Here we have the SanDisk 512MB Cruzer Micro. This USB drive is ...
Pros: A handy way to transfer files from one computer to another. Cons: It's apparently slower for some users, though not for me.
I got one of these SanDisk Cruzer Micro 512 MB flash drives as a gift this past holiday season. If you're not familiar with this item, it is a portable data storage unit which can be used to transport files between computers, a handy thing to have if ...
Pros: tons of storage, easy to use, compatible with any computer that supports USB Cons: not a one, these things are great!
I recently started my freshman year of college as a computer science major. So you can imagine my need for a small portable flash drive, but this device is useful for anyone who uses multiple computers throughout their day to day life. As I mentioned ...
Pros: very small, very fast, very convenient. Cons: No blue LED, I got green instead. I'm hurt.
I just purchased this product and it works great. We just bought a new computer and I had already disconnected my old computer but I needed some very important items (jpg's of my son and mp3's). I was dreading the idea of burning data CD's and ...
Pros: Tiny size Cons: Slow, slow, slow! Definitely not USB 2.0 hi-speed.
Don't believe those who give this more than 3 stars: this Sandisk Cruzer Micro flash drive is very slow and does not operate at USB 2.0 hi-speed as advertised. I tested this flash drive on four systems: Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Mac ...
Pros: portable/tiny, fast enough, date encryption, value (got it for $24.99) Cons: lanyard clip is lousy
I love this little gadget. Sure beats those big floppy drives and cd's in physical and memory size. I know I only have 512mb, but it comes in 1gb and 2gb right now. The cruzer micro may not be fast enough for others, but it is more than fast enough ...
I purchased this memory stick as a method of backup, and to carry all of my passwords on so no one else can get them. The packaging of the memory was great, but I still have no idea why companies use so much plastic to package their products, what a ...
Pros: Durable, small, dependable Cons: Small memory
I have had this little thumb drive for ages. . . obviously, since now 512mb is nothing for a thumb drive. However, a few months ago the plastic ring part broke and I thought I lost it. It was found in the copy room where I work. I also lost the plastic ...
Pros: Allows outside storage and frees up computer memory. Cons: None in my opinion.
I love to take photographs. I have taken hundreds of pictures with my digital camera and had them stored in folders on my computer. I did not realize just how much of the memory these photographs were consuming on my computer. I began noticing that the ...
Bought my 512mb Cruzer Micro over a week ago and it is awesome. Tiny little thing comes in very handy when transferring files from work to home and back again. Very small design. Looking forward to buying the MP3 companion for this product. Priced at just under $100 makes this well worth it.
slow slow slow slow slow by robertintpa ,Apr 01 '06
Pros: Tiny Cons: SLOW SLOW SLOW SLOW SLOW!
I just bought it too, and came here.
Large files, 10mb, VERY Quick.
2K Files -- 12 minutes to copy 100 2K files to it. Deleting them are even worse! It takes 1 second per 2K file to delete, bottom line it will take 100 seconds to delete 100 files (1 1/2 minutes!!)
I/O Error after only a few months by busybuds ,Nov 18 '05
Pros: Worked great while it did. Cons: Didn't last long.
I've had mine for a few months and used it maybe 25 times to transfer files to/from my laptop to my desk pc. All of a sudden, it won't allow me to write to it. I can read the data on it but not write to it.
I've done a search on the internet for a solution and it seems that I'm not the only one who's having problems.
Pros: Nice blue flashing light Cons: cover does not fit well
It takes more than two hours to write a 87MB file! Yes that's right, I double checked on several computers and I double checked what I have just written. The folder I am copying has a lot of sub folders and files but the speed is totally unacceptable.
