The abilities to tape or transfer music and make it portable has gone through some real changes in my lifetime. Ive had transistor radios heavier than a Stephen King novel and some smaller than a cigarette pack, reel-to-reel recorders, 8 track ...
Pros: Price, Basic Functionality, weight, install & copy music Cons: User interface (especially previous iRiver users), light construction, no neck strap

Pros: Small, lightweight, relatively easy to use, good warranty Cons: headphones
After suffering for years carrying around a discman when I go for walks, runs, or to the gym, I finally decided I needed to break down and get an MP3 player. Why? Because it's hard to use the ski machine at the gym one handed especially since most ...
So after using a CD Player in my car for 3 years and having it skip every time I went over any bumps, not too mention only having an hour of music at a time, I decided it was time to get something new. Well I thought about a new CD player, but the ...
Pros: battery life, size, display Cons: earphones, menu system, USB port cover
I got two of these for my kids for Christmas. My 12 year old didn't like the earphones because they hurt his smaller ears. My 15 year old, on the other hand, likes the earphones and continues to use them. The wire to one ear is much longer than the ...
Pros: Small, Sound Quality Cons: Not Enough Storage
I got my SanDisc 256 MB MP3 Player for Christmas. I was, and still am delighted by it. ~Pros~ Size- It is so small that it can easliy fit anywhere you could ever want to put it. Sound- The quality of the song on this player is the same as the ...
Pros: Small size, good battery life, neat functions Cons: Control breaks easily, small memory, sound quality deteriorates
This was my first MP3 player. I got it for Christmas and initially, I put it off to the side. I eventually hooked up to my computer, with a bit of difficulty, since there is no instruction manual. I got most of my songs off of CD's, I put them in, ...
Pros: Small, powerful, inexpensive, 1 battery for hours of use. Cons: First time novice users may feel technically challenged.
I bought the 512MB version for my son last year as he likes to work out while away at college. His review when I asked "yeah it works real good". My wife recently borrowed it to go walking and she came back really excited about it. Well I thought this ...
Pros: Light, reliable, easy usage, good value. Found a new friend : ) Cons: One minor point, no neck strap inspite of the bracket for one.
I have just attained this mp3 player as a gift, unbeknownst, by the giver, I had already an iRiver mp3 player. So I have an idea on how these things work. First of all, it was half the price of the iRiver and had twice the memory so I was expecting a ...
Pros: Small, lightweight, easy to use, great sound quality Cons: Tiny navigation button
PROS -- I've had my SanDisk MP3 player for about a week, and I absolutely love it! It's important for me to have music during my workouts to help keep me motivated, but not at the cost of wearing a bulky CD player at my side. This MP3 player is so ...
Pros: Price; sound quality; ease of use Cons: Not water resistant; user manual not very helpful
Gone are the days of toting around CDs and a CD player. This attractive mp3 player by Sandisk does everything I need from a digital audio player. Sounds great, good battery life, compact, and the price is right. I was thinking of getting an iRiver, ...
Awesome For the Road Ahead! by streetscene2k4 ,Jan 26 '05
Pros: Size, backlit screen, holds 37 songs Cons: no way to upgrade the unit, no rechargable batteries are included.
Sure it's small, and doesn't hold but so many songs, but why have 800 songs when you can change them out as they get outplayed, regardless? This little thing is great! Again, it was another gift, and something I have wanted for quite some time... Like another Nissan owner on here, I have an Auxillary input on my stereo. However, I figured that I wanted to play it loud no matter where I was, so I got a wireless FM transmitter to go with the player. Now I can listen to it in my car, my non-MP3 compatible home stereo, and all over a strong signal. This little device can also power my large studio headphones, and provides just as much bass as my computer or cd player. I love the size! I can't think of anything wrong with this product! I am highly satisfied!
Great investment for one on the go by cope09 ,Jul 12 '05
Pros: Compact Size
Storage
Ease of use Cons: Potential Storage-size issue
I received the 256MB player as a bday gift after my wife did the leg work on the reviews. I love it. Of course, it could always use more memory, hence the 512 and 1GB models but, if you're like me and exercise alot, your taste in music changes from run to run...so, 60 songs is more than enough during a workout or two.
What I like about it:
>Compact Size--not much bigger than a BIC lighter
>Storage--good enough for me although, may not be adequate for some
>Ease of use--if you have any PC knowledge or common sense, you don't need the instruction manual to rip and copy music to it.
What I don't like
>Storage--I'm sure eventually I'll get tired of adding/removing songs all the time and just want to have 200+ songs copied onto it
That's about it. I think it was a much better investment than those over-priced iPODS and clones...after all, it is just a stick of memory with a play button.
A wonderful MP3 player that has everything you are looking for. The simplicity and functionality of this product are superb.
Don't miss out on this great deal.
