Pros: Attractive, nice size/power/features combo. Cons: Died way too young.
We bought this product for it's size and features and for it's price. I've used Sanyo products in the past with mixed results but without any strong negative experiences so I gave this little microwave a shot. It performed quite well and fit our needs right up until the time it rolled over and died only four months after purchase, with very light use. Truthfully, though, it did give us a little warning. About two weeks before it's repose it started flipping it's breaker when we opened the door if it had been idle for a while, but only infrequently and sporadically. Anyway, it's demise was unexpected and we are still grieving.
Pros: Size, style, price Cons: Does not perform past a year
I purchased the oven for its size and economy. It didn't get a lot of use, and was used primarily for reheating. The first time I tried to cook rice with the multi-power feature, I was delighted. Perfect!
After a year, it started flipping off the breaker in the outside box. Quite an inconvenience.
Recently, I tried to cook rice again with the MP feature, and realized it wasn't heating like before. Have gotten used to leaving things in longer to reheat, so I'll probably keep it a while longer, but it's annoying to think it worked as advertised only a year, and now is limping along.
