This vacuum does a great job on both carpeted areas and hard
surfaces. It is easy to use the attachments and the bagless
feature is very nicely designed. It is easy to empty and
best of all not messy!(Unlike most bagless units I have
returned in the past.) The last vac we owned was an Oreck
XL2, this does a far superior job of cleaning and was less
than half the price. The deep down dirt it removes is amazing and the suction power on both surfaces is impressive! The roller brush can turn off for bare floors and the minute you
lift the power head up the roller brush shuts off. This vacuum
has made cleaning easier for us!

I'm not terribly picky about vacuums other than it working well over a period of time and getting the job done.

This vacuum doesn't clog easily and works fine in an apartment with bare floors, cat hair and litter. It has a large nozzle to pick up larger stuff.

It is a full-size vacuum, not as small as it looks in the picture.

For years Sanyo has made great products and I am glad that Sanyo is making vacuums. This vacuum is one of the best products I ever purchased.
