Pros: Inexpensive, good quality, easy to use, digital controls, looks nice, fast heating Cons: The door is slightly crooked on my oven
The Problem It is quite inconvenient to preheat the oven in my stove for 10 minutes to make sure it reaches the proper temperature. It is also too large of an oven for my average reheating or cooking tasks. I had to open the door to see if ...
Pros: Super-easy one-touch toasting controls for perfect toasts every time! Compact size. Beautiful! Cons: Gets very hot on the outside, especially on top.
We've had the Sanyo digital convection toaster oven for three months now, and we absolutelly love it. It replaced an Oster oven that was the highest rated toaster oven (by Consumer Reports) at the time we bought it a few years ago. The Sanyo is currently ...
Pros: Great features- especially automatic shutoff when timer rings. Makes it hard to burn food! Cons: Broke within less than 10 months! And gets dangerously hot on top and sides.
The Sanyo SK-VF7S Convection Toaster Oven is definitely the most compact toaster oven out there, and includes many high end features for its price. However, the top heating element in ours broke in about 9 or 10 months! And I see that other ...
Pros: Cooks quickly and evenly and makes perfect toast. Cons: Small interior. Not enough temperature settings.
After searching many reviews for just the right toaster oven, we settled on this Sanyo and feel that we made just the right choice. It is attractive, cooks evenly and quickly and does a great job with toast. There is even a provision for ...
Dead after little more than a year by jannyshoe ,Nov 15 '07
Pros: Toasted quickly and fairly evenly. Cons: Convection fan and one element died early deaths.
We liked many of the features of this oven, but others we did not. One of the negatives was the lack of a user-friendly timer for the "bake" setting. You can set it only for up to 40 minutes, and you only get an estimate of the remaining time, not an accurate reading. The temperature control is also very vague, with choices of 470, 400, 320, 250 and 180. We use the "toast" setting the most, and it originally toasted pretty well with just one button to push.
When the unit was quite new, the convection fan quit running, and now the top heating element has died. We have only had it a little over a year. This is our third toaster oven in the last 6 years, and like the others, it has turned out to be a disappointment.
A Toaster Oven That Makes Good Toast by ezeetolove ,May 30 '08
Pros: Digital controls and timer, compact size, front crumb tray Cons: So far -- none. Haven't used convection oven yet.
At last!! The perfect toaster oven for people who use their toaster oven to make toast! This fabulous toaster oven includes every feature we wanted -- digital controls and timer (no annoying timer ticking), one button to push for perfect toast every time (so easy my husband can do it), oven rack slides out when opening door, crumb tray conveniently removes from the front for easy cleaning, sleek, high quality and compact size with convection capability -- not that much larger than our former Black and Decker 2 slice toaster oven and can still accommodate a 10 inch pizza!
