Pros: Reliability, versatility, and exceptional quality of scanned copies. Cons: Figuring it all out.

Pros: Ease of use, High resolution, Small size, Epson quality Cons: Negative holder that holds negs off glass
Summary: I have only had this scanner for about a week now and have been scouring my negative collection to get everything I can scanned in. All I can say is "wow!" I never expected this kind of resolution for only the $50 I spent on eBay for this baby. I've ... read more

Pros: Fairly good scans - once you ploughed through the tortuous controls Cons: Controls, instructions and software crashes

Pros: High-quality scans when it worked. Cons: It broke! Beginner-type software. Software crashed sometimes when other programs were open.
Summary: about 30 days after I purchased the 2400, it stopped scanning. There is no ON/OFF button. It did go into sleep mode after non-use for a few minutes, so I would just leave it on - perhaps that was the issue? The specific problem was that the scanning
