Fujitsu fi-4750C Flatbed Scanner

The Fujitsu fi-4750C is Fujitsu's color version of the popular m4097dm series of scanners. It offers almost identical features, with the only major change being it's ability to scan in color. Which is okay, because there was really no design changes...

Cons: The quality of the scan is far too poor when scanning fine details like maps

I have to use this scanner at work. The quality of the scan is awful. Fine detail like that found on maps fails to scan at a sensible dpi. When scanning colour docs that contain text, the text is always unreadable.

The unit uses led array instead of a lamb and price of it for one side 1400USD. Since the scanner dublex it cost almost 3000USD. For other scanner lamb prices usually something around 200USD. Speed of the scanner in dublex color scanning drops dramatically. I do not advice you to buy this scanner.
