Pros: Excellent for carpet, great filtration, repair free, excellent for pet hair Cons: No suction control, brushes wear on hard floor, short hose, stiff brush attachments
This vacuum is very well built and designed, has very few repairs, and maintenance. It was designed for durability, but because it was designed for durability there are features that can affect its ease of use. I really did love the way it adjusts to ...
Sebo X5 review After our old vacuum died last week, I found myself on a vacuum hunt. I went out fully expecting that I would buy a Dyson but I ended up with this machine instead because after comparing the two, I liked this one much better. For ...
Pros: Durable, powerful, quiet, extra easy to use. Ultimate bare floor machine. Cons: Expensive, right rear wheel can scratch baseboards, edge cleans only on right side.
This German-engineered and manufactured upright is incredible in the precision efficiency of design and function. Your eyes will boggle as you assemble this unit in about two minutes right out of the box without using a single tool! Changing bags is an ...
Pros: Cleans all surfaces very well. Very durable, repair-free. Cons: No headlight - can't think of another downside!
I've had this vac for several years and love it! I was tired of the utensils falling off my old vac and of the wands coming apart mid-use. This vac is easy to use, self adjusts height-wise which means it adjusts to those dreaded areas on plush ...
Sebo Sucks..but not in a good way by sukatmo ,Jul 21 '08
Pros: I cannot think of anything good about these machines. Cons: It's heavy, it doesn't suck, it clogs ALL the time.
I don't know if it just me but every time I use a SEBO it completely craps out on me. It ALWAYS gets jammed with dust where I am always having to clean out the lint trap and taking out the brush to cut out all the garbage that collects in the brush. It never fully sucks up the dirt. If you take the hose out and use that, it works great! but I am not willing to vacuum a whole house with just the hose! I have no clue what people see in these vacuums. My mother swears by them but every time I use them I never have any luck.
Pros: Simple, easy to use and well built. Cons: Cleaning wand not long enough
This is a thoughtfully constructed machine. Everything is simple and easy to use. Although it is not self-propelled, it sure feels like it is. The way it automatically adjusts down to a bare floor from a carpeted floor is very cool. Bags are easy to replace. My only criticism is that for overhead cleaning, the length of the attached cleaning wand is not long enough. My dealer says there is an attachment that can be purchased, but I don't believe there is an on-board clip for it.
Pros: Auto adjust head level for hard floors and carpet. Quality of workmanship you can see. Cons: Drapes brush that clips on the neck of handle is a little weak.
This vacuum is top of the line. I checked on line pricing and found that looking locally and negotiating, you will end up with a better price. I bought the X5 with the extra long hose and also the extra filter set with the Hepa filter, which was not necessary but did anyway. With tax the total cost was less than on line MSRP.
