Pros: Great Quality, Excellent Price, very easy to set up and use. Cons: No duplex printing, static paper source, no computer interface, slow.
My office had an account on a very large copy machine shared between everyone on our floor. The department which owned the contract for that machine was unfortunately moved into a different building. So we needed to find other options for our ...
Pros: Basic, no frills copier. Cons: Can't think of any at the moment!
Just so you know, Xerox makes the Sharp Copier. In fact, the Sharp copiers are the same as the Xerox Work Center copiers and they also use the same mechanical innards, toner and drum. Xerox is a big company that has been around for years and their ...
Pros: Copy quality, loads of features, easy to operate, budget price. Cons: Too slow for large copy jobs. Turn power save mode off for quicker start ups.
After living several months with a tempermental Konica copier, I made the decision to replace it with the new Sharp machine. Our office is fairly small and we make less than 1,000 copies monthly. We were looking for a copier that could handle that ...
Pros: Low price, copy quality, feature rich for this price range. Cons: Toner cost, curled copies, will show the effects of over- usage quickly.
First off, let me say that I used to sell copiers for a living back in the 80's so this review, hopefully, will be knowledge based. I've owned my Sharp AL 1631 for about three months now. I can tell you that a copier such as this would have sold for at ...
Pros: It prints very well and is fast. Cons: It is not the best quality in my opinion.
This high quality laser copier offers copying speeds of up to 16 ppm and scan once, print many capability. It has a 30-sheet automatic document feeder for legal and letter size copying and 250-sheet front loading paper cassette and single bypass feed. ...
Pros: Copy quality. Cons: Speed. Second side copying. Paper feed configuration.
I bought this copier to replace my Xerox XC1255 which I had repaired several times and sent to our shop for the guys to use. I want it back.
The 1631 is slow, so slow. I know copiers go into sleep mode to save parts but it takes this copier twice as long to warm up as the 1255 and the paper feeder and duplex printing feeder are opposite every other copier I have ever used. To switch to a different zoom takes just as long as warming up. It makes great copies and for the patient person who doesn't do volume copying or a lot of two-sided copying it would be fine. I can't get it to made second-side copies by putting the paper in the paper tray. It always jams when I do that. I find it frustrating and am considering donating it somewhere and getting a different one. The problem is Xerox doesn't make the low end copiers like the 1255 anymore. Someone told me the Sharp is made by Xerox but it is not the same and I am questioning that statement by the salesman now.
Pros: EASY TO USE, AND CHEAP TO RUN Cons: I REALLY HAVE NONE AT THIS TIME
I am very impressed with my copier, I am a small business and it is very easy to use, and I am pleased with the speed. I would highly recomend this copier for the price, & ease.
Pros: Zero Cons: The copier makes bad copies, is slow, and the toner makes a huge mess.
My small non-profit bought this machine for light office use. The copier has been disappointing from the beginning. It makes light copies, the toner gets all over the place, and now it has started making copies with a line down the middle. In short, we cannot use the overpriced machine and will have to replace it. Sharp claims the problem with the toner and toner drum is not covered by their warranty. I find it unacceptable that the warranty will not cover replacement of a product that simply does not work.
