Pros: Extremely detail and precise even for a large sized monitor Cons: Screen can produce some image lagging when in high action shots
Plasmas, LCD, LCD Projection, Rear Projection, DLP, Front Projection, oh dear God, where does it stop?!? With so many choices out there, who really is the best set on the market. Well with each technology come both the advantages and ...
Pros: Amazing high definition picture quality
Thin and light Cons: Too thin to put anything on top
Very expensive
We use our TV mostly to watch DVDs. One day I noticed that our 27" standard TV was the equivalent of a 22" widescreen TV when watching widescreen movies. How annoying! We were loosing nearly 1/3 of our pixels due to the letterbox. So we started ...
Pros: beautiful screen, ultimate way to enjoy DVDs, breakout box cuts wire clutter Cons: speakers can't be removed, breakout box takes additional space
We just bought a Sharp 37" LCD 37HV6U a couple days ago. So far, we're stunned. The picture's wonderful even with our s-video-only DVD player; I'm seriously questioning whether I really need to upgrade to a progressive scan DVD player. A wide screen ...
Pros: Resolution, style, lack of pixelization and motion artifacts. Cons: Reliability, lack of natural colorization.
My first Aquos arrived DOA. The remote control did not work properly. The same problem manifested itself via all of the programmable (non-Sharp) hand-held remotes, so I assumed it was something internal to the TV or control box, and not the hand-held ...
Pros: Fantastic picture, smart-zoom for wide-screen display. Cons: Lacking support from Sharp.
We already own a Sharp AQUOS LCD for another of our bedrooms (LC-20E1U), so when it came time to rebuild our master suite, an LCD based monitor was definitely on the short list. While it's slightly smaller than a comparably priced plasma TV, we thought ...
Pros: Profeel: excellent price/service.
Sharp: High quality at wide angles. Easy setup. Speakers removeable
Cons: Labelling on various inputs on back of the AVC unit could be more detailed.
Once I selected Sharp then came the hard part of deciding where to buy. I have purchased a great many High Price items online and got really burned with hostile vendors and vendors who would add items to your credit card without permission and I was ...
Looks great out of the box. Great styling and a cool stand.
That's as far as it goes. I returned a 32" Westinghouse for this?
The picture is "fair" at best. I sat down for an entire episode of Oprah in HD trying to get the picture to look like HD. Not even close.
Some panorama shots on pbs look decent but even they don't last long.
My $700 Westinghouse blew the picture quality away.
Yes this has a better menu, styling, size, and features but who cares? I'm not going to be looking at my screen menu when I sit down to watch a show...
Pros: Good colour reproduction Cons: A little overpriced needs to come downn
One of the best LCD's around. Has good image quality and the best of breed screen processing. Contrast is excellent and no visual image trailing while watching fast moving imagess.
Pros: Everything associated with this TV is quality! Cons: Only one DVI input.
Did my research and decided on Aquos. I have been pleased as punch. Have it hooked to HD satellite and Samsung HDDVD player. Picture is crisp and color is very good at factory settings. Setup was easy even for me.
Pros: none. The TV has never worked Cons: Sharp Electronics can't even fix the broken TV they sent me!
I have owned this TV for more than 6 weeks now and have never been able to turn it on. From the day I received the product it has been broken. When the Television company came to fix it they said that the mother board was burned up inside and they would have to order a new one. The new parts that were ordered from Sharp for the TV also arrived defective. So even the replacement parts don't work. The TV was suppose to be brand new and "Factory Sealed" in the box. I am very dissapointed with this product and with Sharp Electronics company also. I will NEVER be purchasing a Sharp again.
Pros: Excellent picture, multiple connections, can be used as computer monitor (!), lots of adjustments. Cons: Middling speakers.
Other than the on-board speakers which no one serious about video is actually going to substitute for a real 5.1 speaker system, I can find nothing at all to complain about. This is an excellent product, as are all Sharp products I have ever owned. The only two caveats are, you need a separate tuner for HDTV, and you can't disconnect the on-board speakers unless you plan on hanging it on the wall--it will fall over! The advantages over plasma are mainly lack of burn-in and a crystal clear picture. This unit goes well with a Niro-1.1 one speaker/one subwoofer system.
This is the LCD TV that I like it much by evsiz ,Aug 25 '04
Pros: wide screen, good resolution, extra inputs Cons: our country TV standart is PAL not only NTSC
The TV created by sharp is full featured and experienced. so there is no any missing thing, everything we need it has. especially inputs for example A/V inputs, S-video inputs and etc are very important in this technology century. wide, LCD, and good resolution is more of I want to say.
