  • Heats food; defrosts frozen stuff; makes popcorn; WHAT else do you need?

Pros: Does what a microwave is supposed to do
Cons: Pops my circuit breaker; big; weird heating patterns; strange hotspots

Summary: When we moved out of our rental into our new house, I had a minor freak out when I realised that the previous owners hadn't left the microwave. I don't know why I had assumed they would. It's common over here in the US to leave the appliances when you ... read more

    Pros: Sleek, easy and accurate
Cons: None I can find, we're happy with it

Summary: Works and looks great. Perfect size, does it all. The controls are easy to use. Information booklet guides you through until you get used to what's what and how. Definitely would recommend this brand and model. Heating is exact, next to our old one

    Pros: 1 minute button
Cons: Faulty buttons right out of the box

Cons: a cigarette lighter works faster.

Summary: I had a Sharp 700w which heated 14 ounces of water in 1.52 minutes. At work, the GE Sensor 1100 watt heats 14 oz water in 1 minute. So, I bought the Sharp R-308JW and it heats the water in 2 minutes [TOO SLOW]! I kindly wrote the company which told me

Pros: Good price, easy controls, enough power for most applications
Cons: When in operation the noise level is a little high

Summary: My Panasonic died. I needed an inexpensive table top and shopped the local market. Decided on the Sharp model R-308-JW. It fit the space assigned for it, the controls are simple, and this unit has a light on when running, my other model did not. The
