Sherwood RVD-9090R A/V Receiver

Pros: 100w/ch, OSD, DTS & AC3, easy to use
Cons: No learning remote features

Pros: Nice for use as pre/pro
Cons: Poor bass, rating @ 40-20k. Subwoof required.
Since this is unit is old tech at the time of this review, and can only be found on ebay, I'll keep it short.

I have the means to buy "better", but am still using it, which speaks for itself. On the down side, forget the power claim; it really puts out no more than around 50 watts per channel, all channels driven, and the bass is pathetic (Sherwood rates their amps in this category 40-20k, which is 70's standards). The reason I'm using this is it has pre-outs which allowed me to power the fronts w/ an external amp, which helped alot.
