I hesitated to spend this much money on a dishwasher, but now I am so glad I did.

Whisper quiet, I accidently opened it while it was running. This one lives up to its promise of low noise. The heating element is hidden, so no more burned lids or containers if one happens to slip through and fall. The utensil basket can be split and moved to maximize space and the top shelf can be removed completely or adjusted to fit large items - I can wash pitchers, stock pots, even vases! The china and crystal cycle is even gentle enough for my Riedel glasses.

I just can't say enough about this dishwasher. It is so easy to use and its hidden control panel gives it a sleek, clean look. The only drawback is that the extra insulation makes it just a little smaller inside, but that negative is far outweighed by the quality of this dishwasher.

No, I did not purchase the extended warranty.

My new dishwasher leaked and ruined my new floor. Siemens Bosch sent appliance repair person to check my plumbing - he couldn't find anything wrong with the plumbing in my house. Then Siemens Bosch sent district rep to check my plumbing - he couldn't find anything wrong with my plumbing - he said the dishwasher wiring was too short from the factory and spliced it. Then the Siemens Bosch insurance company argued with me still saying it wasn't the dishwasher that leaked. Things dragged on - with many letters and faxes on my part and no one returning my calls. Bosch Siemens spent time and money sending a factory rep, an appliance repair person, had an insurance person delay for months - when the bottom line is their dishwasher leaked due to a faulty wire from the factory. They should have sent wiring harness to the stores that sold the dishwashers - then dishwashers never would have leaked. Shame on Bosch Siemens for causing consumers so much trouble.

Purchase Siemens dishwasher most expensive at store, it stoped working after less then 6 months. Siemens warranty center says they will not service it, their service is contracted to Best Buy, Best Buy will not service product says it is a manufactures warranty , But Seimens refuses to honor warranty. This is per Trazy Glenn Seimens warranty supervisor.

HORRIBLE DISHWASHER. thought i was buying the best...had 2 servicers out to service it. second said it would cost $400+ to fix it. I paid 800+. It is was just months out of warranty. I'm still going back and forth with my claim. Maybe then they will fix it. Until then I'm hand washing more. I refuse to give in!
