The Simpsons: Hit And Run made some TIME Magazine list of top 10 video games, so I made a mental note to play it sometime. Eventually I got around to it, and I must say it far exceeded my expectations. It exceeded my expectations in ...
Pros: True to the TV series, smooth graphics and hilarious sound bites. Cons: Can get a little repetitive
I think it is fair to say that previous computer and console games carrying the Simpsons name have been something of a let down. The Simpsons Wrestling was little more than tedious rounds of punching, kicking and hoping, while The Simpsons Road Rage was ...
Pros: Engaging play, excellent controls, Simpsons-level funny, no annoying insta-death Cons: Derivative of GTA
It's not hard-core racing simulator, it's not a high-strategy battle of wills, but it's a just plain fun game to play. The primary draw for this game will be for anyone who appreciates the wit and wisdom of the Simpsons – from the familiar characters, ...
Pros: Great voice-acting, easy controls, and hilarious Simpsons humor. Cons: Most missions are time-based, which will frustrate some players.
I've been around since 1979, so I've seen quite a lot. The fall of the Berlin wall, the cloning of sheep, Alex Trebek without a mustasche. But I never thought I'd ever live to see this -- a Simpsons game that doesn't suck. To be fair, I'm one of ...
Pros: Good graphics, Fun, similarity to the Simpsons is good. Cons: Has some violence, can get a bit frustrating, and is hard to stop playing.
I must admit that I am bit bias, I do love the Simpsons, but this game is just pure fun. I’m sure that those who love the Simpsons will appreciate it the most, as it has many references to the series. The graphics are pretty good, but I’m new to ...
Pros: All of the Simpsons come together to save the day Cons: Nothing
I am a huge fan of the Simpsons and having bought every game they've put out on the PlayStation 2, I figured I would be dumb not to buy this one. I was pleased with it all around and I like everything about it.In this game you play as a whole ...
Pros: Get all of the cars! Cons: the only one is the driving.

Finally a kids game like GTA by strongsad1 ,May 23 '06
Pros: xxxxx Cons: xxxxx
This game is alot like Grand Theft auto but GTA is a bad game and kids can't play it. No problem no there is a kids Simpson version. You can't kill people or pick up hookers but you can steal cars and cause alot of destruction. It's a fun game that kids about 10 and up can play. It has good graphics and good gameplay. The controls are great, as well as the sound.
Pros: good graphics, Funny remarks, feel of the Simpsons Cons: game is short, last level is somewhat hard, not enough charchters to play with
I was really happy with this video game, Most other Simpsons Games kind of where bad, but this one is really good
GAMEPLAY 5/5
You get to play as five different Simpsons characters: Homer, Merge, Bart, Lisa and Apu. Each on there on level and there own goals. You get into cars on the road and do goals. The comments are really funny. Brings the feel of Simpsons to your PS2. Also you get to punch people on the street, sound familiar {Grand Theft Auto}
GRAPHICS 5/5
Imagine the Simpsons in 3D, thats how they are in this game. the Graphics are superior!!!
CONTROLLS: 5/5
The controls are simple you don't even need the Instruction Booklet to figure it out
OVEROLL 5/5
This game is really good, the graphics and speech is worth paying for it.
Pros: The Best Part Is Not All That Violence And Plots And Not So Good Words, Cons: Some Bad Words Plots And Violence,
I Think The Simpson's Hit And Run Is Age 10 And Up Appropriate Because Of Some Violence(like Pushing cars off the road and burning up cars for the coins)And Some Not So Good Words(like Some Of The Characters Say Sometimes)And Little Kids Should Not Learn That Aliens Take Over The World Cause They Don't,
Simpson Hit and Run Review by seanymac ,Feb 02 '04
Pros: Nice graphics, excellent portrayal of characters, Cons: Very similar to Grand Theft Auto, lack of character vocabulary
While this game is not much of challenge to avid video game fans, it certainly delivers to the fans of the hit television show. This funny game puts you in control of your favorite Simpson's character. Think of it as watching the television show, but you get to tell the characters what to do. Highly recommended for anyone who loves to have a fun yet strategic time while playing video games.
Pros: 4 Words: Vice City in Springfield Cons: Game length a bit short
Ever since I was like 10 watching the Simpsons on TV, I would always imagine what it would be like spending a day living in the uber cool town of Springfield. This game not only lets you experience the excitement of 3 different parts of the city, but also lets you experience it through 6 of the characters you grew up watching on TV. The sheer size and freedom that this games provides is amazing. It's like VIce City, but in Springfield. I got this game as a gift, and it is probably the coolest gift I have ever gotten. The only problem is how short the game is, but you can always go back and play the levels again.
Grand Theft Auto KNOCK OFF by musicfreak00 ,Apr 03 '08
Pros: Has simpsons charcters Cons: No weapons no fistfights
This game is a knock-off of Grand Theft Auto I would suggest that if you have played Grand Theft Auto do not play this game all they did was kidify and dumbed down grand theft auto.
Strange things are happening to America's slobbiest town: Springfield. Who knows what might happen next? To find out you must go by foot or wheels and do the missions as you unlock the mystery of Springfield.
