Pros: Loved it while it worked. We had a $200 lifetime subscription for service. Cons: Customer service is abismal. Frequent bad hard drive and expensive repair service.

Worst customer service ever

Pros: None, unless you enjoy wasting time and money. Cons: Poor quality products, incredibly bad customer service.
The first ReplayTV I received was defective right out of the box. I had called the "customer care" center *five* times to get a replacement. By the sixth time I finally reached someone of relative competence, and he got me out a replacement that I thought was new, but was actually refurbished. That unit's hard drive died within the second month of usage. So I called back, and was told I'd be sent a new unit. It never happened. So I called back again, and was told I'd be sent a new unit, but it was again refurbished. And guess what folks: it was defective, right out of the box! So, here I am, six months later, without a working unit, trying to call Waco, Texas yet *again*, and they've had me on hold for over *half an hour*. I've spent a least a hundred bucks just *calling customer service*, not to mention the countless *hours* of my time wasted. Now here it is, a Saturday, and I'm getting continuously hung up on. Please learn from my story and do not EVER buy from these guys.

Pros: None since my first three units seldom worked Cons: Good luck getting service.
I am waiting for them to send me my fourth ReplayTV. The first three all broke in differing ways. They received my third broken unit over one month ago and despite being told that it was being escalated two weeks ago, they still have not shipped. Look at BBB of Silicon Valley. I wish I had before buying. ReplayTV has a history of non-response to consumer complaints.
