Pros: wireless, big screen, mp3s, movies, camera, screen quality, battery life than all other pdas. Cons: Minor Cons: default Software - replaceable (PalmGear.com). Camera shutter. Memory stick - not most popular.
Overall -------------- I got my Clie TH55 about 15 days ago. Overall I am very happy with its performance. I encountered minor problems, but I managed to overcome them easily. I strongly recommend the Clie TH55 - I researched it for 5 straight days. ...
Pros: Amazing battery life, great screen, superb wireless networking capabilities Cons: Sony software, manuals, documentation, manuals, documentation, documentation, manuals.
I'll start this review by qualifying myself - I am a complete gadget geek, this is my fourth PDA. My very first one was the original USRobotics Palm Pilot Pro, the one that started all of this PDA craze. I seem to buy them when they hit around $700, and ...
Pros: Has every function out there. Battery life. Multi-media. Camera, MP3s. Will get cult following? Cons: It needs to rotate Excel and the web browser.
My Handera 330 died a slow dead and I was missing it. Handera is defunct. The 330 was basically a Palm IIIxe with a virtual graffiti area, voice recorder, CF and SD slots, and ability to rotate the screen sideways. It was 3 years old and there STILL ...
Pros: Screen, construction, dual wireless, battery life Cons: Poor buttons, processor merely average, no Bluetooth (in US)
Sony Clie PDAs are like macs--either you love them or you hate them. I love them. They are "cooler" than other PDAs. This awesome top-of-the line Clie is the best Clie yet. Overview The PEG-TH55 uses the Sony Handheld Engine. It varies ...
Pros: Battery life, Clie Organizer, WiFi, MP3, size, weight, and screen Cons: Won't work with Outlook AND Palm Desktop/Clie Organizer for Desktop. 2 alarms, very minor bugs.
Ok, first of all, I change my PDA's regularly as newer features and units get released, so what seems to be the perfect PDA for me now, may become old news to me quicker than others. I have owned Pocket PC's in the past, and as beautiful as the ...
Pros: large display, loaded with features Cons: wireless connection is not very useful
I never thought the day would come when I would become as dependent on a PDA as I have. Daily life just wouldn't run as smoothly as it does for me without my Sony Clei Peg-TH55. Sony's PDA's have some of the best features I have seen on handhelds. ...
Pros: Nice camera, beautiful high res color screen, Wi-Fi capability, lots of memory. Cons: Heavy, bulky, uses Graffiti 2, inferior Address and Date Book applications, slow Wi-Fi.
I upgraded from an SJ-22 to the TH-55. The TH-55 has more features, including a camera, a voice recorder, and Wi-Fi. This makes it a more versatile unit, but I frequently miss my SJ-22 for the following reasons: 1) The SJ-22 is smaller and lighter 2) ...
Pros: TH55 has better battery, overall design and a camera Cons: T3 has better memory, screen colors, sound volume and a faster processor
This is a side-by-side comparison of some of the features of two close competitors: the PalmOne Tungsten T3 and the Sony Clie PEG-TH55. I have owned a T3 for some months now and Ive been disappointed with some aspects of it. Things that you will ...
Pros: Easy to learn and use. Great battery life and plenty of memory. Cons: I am not finding any downside to my unit so far.
This is my first handheld. Being a bit of a slow starter, I researched and found this Clie. I am extremely satisfied with features, battery life, downloads, etc. It was easy to learn how to use..began using right away. Loved having the built in camera while on a working vacation. I would highly recommend this Clie to everyone that wants all the top of the line features.
Pros: Large screen, easy to use and read. Great for most needs. Cons: No phone and not as many features.
Good unit to down load pic and take notes. Do all the usual stuff we use ours for. Compact and versitle. Large screen and easy to use. I wish it was a phone too. But I'm sure its coming. Price is comparable too.
Its Clie why you should get one of these... by ruffas ,May 19 '05
Pros: screen, mp3, beautiful screen, clear screen, large screen... Cons: sony software is not the best.
I have had Palm OS based handhelds since the year DOT. m515, handspring! (I know), Zire 71 and a few Sony's. Bought my first sony because I had a Sony Camera and the MemStick was useful to share photos and MPEGs. That was then, the TH55 is now !
A fantastic screen, battery life and speed of operation is what makes this stand out.
Pros: Has all you ever need on a sony Cons: Not yet a phone as well
Having used a palm com3 then this clie peg-th55 i found that this one has more applications that i use every day and with the wireless LAN as well i can use it in every part of the house not just when its plugged in to a PC i all so keep my pics on it and i use it as my MP3 player to on the audio player has a great sound from it plugged into the van stereo and with a memory stick in it you can have up to 500.MB or more if you wish for all your pics and songs ,bank, home, school, details and not forget the downloads (games, pics, songs) and other use full things like sol free when you have time on your hands
best overall palm out there by newmommyof3 ,Feb 25 '05
Pros: Battery life. Multi-media. Camera, MP3s. every function needed to run a small business efficientially Cons: no drivers to download off the internet - if disk is lost
Had a palm III used it for a while but I ended up running into problems every time needed to reschedule a meeting or an appt - with this palm it has a larger screen for easier reading - and also an easy to use calendar to schedule and reschedule all you want.
This is my favorite PDA!! by jennadeang ,Aug 23 '05
Pros: Endless accessories, easy to navigate Cons: none!
I love this Sony CLIE. It is jam packed with features. Not only does it organize everything in my work life and personal life, it has also become my MP3 player for when i work out or when i am on the train to work. It is much easier to navigate songs on this than on an ipod! I also love the games you can get in expansion cards. They are addicting and are great to pass the time on car rides and plane rides. I would recommend this PDA above all others. The accessories and add ons are endless.
Pros: Nice device Cons: You got to pay for drivers
Lost the install CD. You meet to pay about $11.00 to Sony and it takes 6-8 weeks... can any one wait so long? The only unit with no drivers download possibility
