Pros: Size, Above average to excellent photos, 7MP camera, KISS camera Cons: Weak flash, lack of advanced features if you're looking for that
It's been a while since I've had the time to write up a new review... been too busy in the hospital these days and so the epinions time has suffered. Although I'll be posting reviews much less frequently than I did in the past, I will still post concise ...
Pros: Low cost, High quality pictures, small form camera, very long battery life Cons: Long initial charge cycle, memory has a higher price than other industry standard camera memory.
I was looking for a good quality point and shoot camera which I would be able to use to take photographs, primarily, of my dogs. Since one dog is quite elderly (15 years) and has cataracts in both eyes, I would like a camera which is produces ...
Pros: Exceptionally high quality photos; light weight and pocketable form factor. Cons: Requires expensive proprietary media called Memory Stick. Does not come with usuable software suite.
Let me say upfront I'm not a professional photographer or even a photo hobbyist. I bought the camera because I wanted the absolute best point & shoot compact digital camera I could buy today. I've owned 7 previous digital cameras over the last 5 years. ...
Pros: Light weight, quick to turn on Cons: half of your photos will be blurry
I purchased this camera for my wife because she wanted a light-weight digital camera that would fit in her pocket or purse. After eight months, we have taken about two thousand pictures with the camera. The good points about the camera are its small ...
Pros: Big pictures, fast everything speed, movies with sound. Quality rules. Cons: Microphone/speaker is kind of small.
I just bought this camera, and have been using it a little bit the past two days. They just got it at the local circuit city, and I was totally impressed with the display model. The response time is unbelievable. You turn it on, and it's up and running ...
Pros: everything... best compact ever! Cons: its not an SLR? hahha
I've been a photo enthusiast for the last 5 or 6 years. Obviously, larger cameras take better pictures, and after being spoiled with the brilliance that digital SLR's provide, i thought i would never buy a COMPACT point and shoot ever again... so far, ...
Pros: Good resolution, good optics, happy consumer. Cons: Performs poorly in poor lighting conditions, no image stabalizer, have to buy larger memory stick.
Most Importantly I am not a professional photographer. This should drive about half of the people who clicked on to this article away from this review. Okay – so I'm not a pro. But I have done a bit of research and relied on a friend who ...
Pros: Sharp detail, stunning color, long battery life, & excellent movies in a tiny camera. Cons: Exacting manual control is sacrificed to keep it small.
This is my 2nd digital camera (my 1st being a Canon Powershot S45 - 4 megapixel). My prior camera took great pictures & had lots of manual features, but it was just a bit too large to comfortably carry everywhere (I travel & hike extensively, so the ...
Pros: Great Picture quality, light, responsive, tough and well built, best ultra-compact out there Cons: no manual modes (you won't miss them, this camera is that good)
Let me start out by saying that when I started shopping for a digital camera a couple of months back, I was very confused. I knew a bit about digital cameras, but was coming from film, so I really didn't know what to expect. I originally bought the ...
Pros: Good video mode, takes some good pictures, easy to use Cons: expensive, blurry our of focus pictures
I have had the Sony P150 for about a year now. At first the camera was great. I have taken some amazing pictures with it, but about 3 months ago it started taking very blurry pictures. I am not new at digital cameras or even at this camera so it isn't ...
Pros: very affordable, small, takes detailed pictures if used properly, also takes video Cons: Limited number of special features
I bought the DSC-P150 about two years ago, and I've been loving it ever since. It's the perfect little camera if you're looking to take family pictures. If you're looking to be a professional photographer or hobbiest, with the limited amount of special ...
Pros: SUPER FAST TURNON - GREAT PICTURE QUALITY - DURABLE METAL BODY Cons: WISH IT HAD A LCD PROTECTIVE COVER, BUT OTHER THAN THAT A+++++
I previously owned a HP camera and this was my replacement after replacing batteries over and over again. Let me highlight why I love this camera: #1 - You can charge it! Charge it like you do a camcorder by plugging it in the wall via a dc ...
Pros: Ultra compact; fast processing; long battery life; Conversion lenses and wireless external flash are available Cons: Only two aperture settings in manual mode. (Moving the zoom provides more options)
The P150 uses the same 7 megapixel image sensor as the Canon G6. While you don't get all the exposure controls, you do get the same excellent image quality, and in a camera small enough to fit in your pocket or purse. The P150 is a very fast camera too. ...
Pros: superb picture quality; lightweight and small; easy to use Cons: up-front purchase cost - so be prepared. Soft leather case should have come with this.
Well, I finally got out ot the medieval times with my old Canon Elph 490z and got this Sony DSC-P150. I am eager to say how pleased I am with this purchase. Though, with all the accessories, the cost is almost $1,000 ($499 for the camera itself, 1GByte ...
Pros: Fast processor, advanced features, cool design Cons: Bad movie framerate
For the 7 megapixels, this camera is surprisingly small, and has all the features you need. The design looks very nice. I have been using the camera for a little over a month, and love it. If you are planning to use this camera for shooting movies in place of a camecorder, you might want to consider alternatives. The movies are pretty high res, almost same as a camcorder's, but the framerate is pretty slow. However, for pictures, I do not think thing there is a better choice in the compact market. Photos look very nice, and there is a number of advanced features to set such as aperature, shutter speed, and you can even set the focus manually. It might not feel as good as setting it on an SLR, but you can set it, and thats what matters. The screen is pretty big for the size too. Processor is quick to save those huge 7 megapixel pics, and even faster to view them. In the end, I would strongly recommend it.
