Pros: appearance, very light, produces great sound, rarely skips, great in cars Cons: maybe the cost, harder time with worn CD's
Getting a car with the basics (meaning no tape deck and no CD player), I knew I was going to have to pick up a new compact disc player if I was going to have a good music selection on long drives. Having not had one in a while, I also knew that I wanted ...
Pros: Sound quality, features, layout, battery life. Cons: It just doesn't like scratched-up CDs.
Unfortunately, it was time for me to (pun most certainly intended) face the music: I needed to purchase a replacement for my five-year-old Sony D-E206CK CD player. It wasn't like my trusty old Sony had kicked the bucket, but it just hadn't been ...
Pros: Good sound quality, cool colors, slim design Cons: h.ear headphones that it comes with are a little uncomfortable
If you noticed all my cd player reviews, you would notice that I have no luck whatsoever with portable cd players. I take care of them, keep them clean, never drop them, and they break on me. Just like my Sony S2 sports cd player did. I used it for 3 ...
Pros: Batteries last a very long time. Cons: A bit expensive
This discman is quite slim. Its about the size of a CD only slightly bigger and oval shaped. Although quite small compared to other 'discmen' or discmans its hard to hold and you will need somthing like cargo pants to bring it around. I can't tell you...
Pros: Excellent sound quality, really long battery life, reliable CDR/CDRW replay, shock protection that works Cons: Pricey, odd supplementary battery pack, no MP3 CD replay, some transport noise
The D-EJ1000 has been around for a while and is one of Sony's top-flight personal CD player models. The first thing that strikes you about this unit is its diminutive size. Being noticeably smaller than most other models it is a mere 14mm thick and...
Pros: Inexpensive with good sound quality, great aesthetic appeal, easy-to-use wired remote, good headphones Cons: Some features need better description in the manual, other features USELESS
Portable CD Players get a bad wrap these days. Why carry around one along with a selection of CDs when you can carry a nice iPod and fit your whole music collection in your pocket? Simple answer: the price. Realistically, there are many of us ...
Pros: Good sound
Neat Look
Good Headphones Cons: Bad with worn cds
Scratchable sides
I am not alone in thinking this new cd player from Sony is the best CD Player on the market, and here's why. This product has everything you need. It has great headphones, a handy little remote, a nice display, an attractive choice of colors (I have seen ...
Pros: small and compact design; typical Sony quality Cons: pricey
On a whim whilst visiting Frys Electronics (huge megastore out here in the LA County region) with my New Years money, i decided that i wanted the most state-of-the-art CD player i could buy with around $300 to spend
Pros: Long battery life, slim size, excellent anti-skip Cons: Sound quality, can't read some factory-pressed CDs, reqiures remote for some functions
Out of curiosity, I purchased a Sony D-EJ1000 from Tweeter, at a price of $200 plus tax. Initially, I was attracted by its ultra-slim design, ultra-long battery life and a metal lid. But after over a year with the CD player I was ultimately disappointed...
Pros: Super small (yet sturdy). Good shock resistance. Optical out. Cons: Pricey.
I gotta say I love this MP3 player. I bought it because my little sister was dying to get one (she's all into the whole design thing, and since this is the smallest and best looking CD player out there it's something she was dying to get).
Pros: light, pretty Cons: fragile, frequent defects, mediocre sound, expensive, very bad after service
I regret the day i bough this piece of junk. Totally unreliable, frail, exhibits bizarre and unpredictable behavior, first battery charge last forever, subsequent charges last a day. sometimes stops playing for no reason, sometimes refuses to charge....
Pros: wired remote, Hasnt skipped yet Cons: sound could be louder
I bought this cd player for $6 off of ebay. The bass boost is a nice feature, but the headphones that came with it cannot handle it. The earbuds are loud, but in an annoying way. The actual cd player could be louder. I've had cheap no brand name cd players that were louder. The only thing better than them are the bass boost and remote.
Pros: lightweight, reasonable price, accessible easy-to-use features, good sound quality, good overall value Cons: Skips occasionally, lacks DC plug
This is a decent CD player. It comes with headphones that rest snug in each ear. It has a very handy small control pad that attached to a wire that runs from the CD player, so that if you have the CD player in a holster or pocket you can still access important buttons without needing to access the CD player. It has a DC outlet, although a DC plug is not a standard option with the purchase. It has the standard features of most CD players including a digital menu, hold, and various play mode options (such as shuffle). It is lightweight, and the batteries are accessible from inside the CD compartment. It gloats "G-Protection" as an anti-skip device, although the player does skip when subject to strong jolts or jarring movements such as jogging or running.
