Pros: Inexpensive, awesome skip protection Cons: Buttons a wee bit small
For the last 10 years or so, I've owned exactly one portable CD player; an old, generic Sony Discman. Not because I didn't listen to music on the go or anything - it's because the thing has survived through thick and thicker. It survived a cross-country...
Pros: Great sound, G-Protection, great battery life Cons: none
I bought this cd player to replace my Panasonic (SL-SX290) cd player since I was looking for a cd player with better sound quality, one that was louder, and had more features, and was also better built.
Pros: great sound and bass quality; long battery; barely any skipping; only fifty dollars! Cons: The buttons are little small and take a bit to get used to
Like every teenager in the world, one must have a CD player. It just has become a way of life right now, and you have to be "cool," right? Luckily, Sony has made a CD player that not only has superior sound quality, but also looks cool, and, most of all, ...
Pros: A great, all-around CD Player! Cons: Not many functions, get a mp3 CD Player instead
$50 Dollars last year bought me this CD Player. Don't get me wrong, I love it to death, however, I wish I had waited a few months longer when the mp3/CD players were released. At around $10 more, I'd rather have a Sony mp3/CD Player. Other than that, ...
Pros: GOOD SOUND BUT UP TONS OF ABUSE AND NOW ITS GONE =[ Cons: CANT FIND ANOTHER IN STORES + XCP WORM =[
I have to give a shoutout to my old DEJ360. We've been together for years finally a month ago it died. It had great sound and put up tons of abuse. I would buy it again but I can't find it in stores. Plus I hate Sony for destroying people's computers with the XCP worm so I'm not buying them again unless someone jacked it but that would be illegal. Oh and don't buy Durabrand. I'm gonna try Philips numb encore has it and it's the kind at our school.
this is just swell, I meen SWELL by imaginaryx ,Apr 20 '04
Pros: Looks cool (because you know, thats the only thing that really matters ;) Cons: The headphones suck.
This is actually the first portable CD player I have had. (ya I'm 18.. it took me THAT long to get one) So I am not sure if it is the super best one ever or what. All I can say is that I bought it because it looked cool (great reason, right?) Ya, but personally I like it. I haven't had any real big problems with it except that the headphones that it came with SUCK. They like short-circuited and you would have to jiggle the cord in order for it to work so I had to buy some new ones. I've even dropped it a couple of times and it still works. And it's easy to operate (because people like me can't handle complicated electronics) If I want to play a song I don't want to have to sit there for like 10 minutes trying to figure out what button to push. (Yes! that has happend to me before!) anyhoo I like this CD player and I would recommend it to people.
Pros: Wonderful sound, bass boost, anti-skip feature Cons: The headphones
I bought this CD Player because it was much cheaper than some of the other Sony products and I really love it! The sound is wonderful. The bass is great. The Anti-Skip feature is a must have if you prefer smooth sound without skips. The only thing I did not like about this product was the headphones which you have to put around your neck so instead I bought separate Sony headphones. Nevertheless, this is still a great product for the price and quality! Sony, as always makes the best electronics of any electronic company out there. Enjoy!
Cool, good product at good price by bjzucker ,Sep 23 '03
Pros: Cool design, very good sound quality, lightweight, good skip protection, convenient carry strap Cons: Skips when hanging (and bumping) against back of backpack. Otherwise pretty skip-free.
Bought this little beauty to replace an old Panasonic CD player/radio that functioned flawlessly for several years until I dropped it one too many times.
The SONY has the characteristic SONY design cool factor, terrific sound, readable digital display, easy to find and use controls. I also like the little PSYC button/strap that lets me hang it just about anywhere.
It's relatively skip-free, though when I hang it on the back of my backpack, it tends to bounce and skip. I can accept this and fix it by moving it to a less bouncy location.
