When I bought this CD player, I was not sure what I was getting. I have never owned a sony CD player before this, but sony has a good reputation, so I decided to purchase the item, and I can tell you, it was a good buy. I think I may have paid too much, but it was worth it. The software works nicely despite what some say, and they player is very nice. The MP3 playback is a must have. The battery life is incredible. It says 80 hours, and I don't doubt it. It takes a while for MP3 Cd's to load though, so I may just buy an MP3 player. I was very impressed with the player though, and I would suggest it to anyone.

Great little player. Use it mainly in my car. Love the fact that you can fit multiple albums and hundreds of songs on one disk (especially if using the Atrac3 format). Jog Dial is great for searching through MP3 and Atrac files. Battery life is awesome. Have not heard it skip yet. The play button needs to be redesigned. Hard to get desired function every time. Many times I have turned off the player when I meant to fast forward. One other small thing is to add a light for the display and major function buttons. Overall I think that the Sony DNF610 is a great player!

I bought this CD player to replace another Sony that I had because it was out of date, and it is definetly one of the best things that i've ever bought, the only thing is that the SimpleStage Sonic Burner doesn't work on my other Computer (WIN98). Other than that this is the best CD player that i've ever bought, i recommend it to everyone
