Pros: Comfortable grip, good sound, doubles as a battery charger Cons: None that I can think of
I've owned this discman for a little over six months now and have used it as a hookup to car and home stereo systems, while exercising and on long-haul flights. I certainly wouldn't call myself an audiophile or gadgetry guru, but overall I've been quite ...

Pros: Very sturdy, resists rain and dust. Great sound. Many features. Cons: Bulky, no belt clip, no direct computer hookup.
The Sony Walkman D-NS921F CD Player is a great, portable CD player excellent for jogging and other outdoor activities. This CD player can play MP3, standard Audio CDs, and proprietary Sony Atrac-3 compressed audio. You can use CD-R or CD-RW as well. ...

Worth the extra money
by vzqk50 ,Aug 17 '05
Pros: Durable, reliable, easy to use, long battery life, never skips regardless of activity. Cons: No belt clip, Software poor, Hold in hand to use, Headphones not comfortable, bulky, expensive
It is a great CD player, but is really designed strictly with the jogger/walker in mind. Even biking with it is cumbersome. I wear cargo shorts and throw it in a pocket. Even with all of the motion it still doesn't skip. It handles even the cheapest media, and runs for hours and hours on Ni-MH batteries. I recharge once or twice a month. The Sony burning software is the worst. It will get through 90% of the process and fail - after 3 hours of processing all of the 400 files. Then you have to start all over. There is no playlist manager, so you have to identify the files individually all over again! Their software is required to get the advertised number of songs on a disk. MP3 files work seamlessly, and I use this method 90% of the time. I use Sony's noise cancelling headphones with it, and the sound quality is outstanding. Deep, thumping bass, and resounding treble. The headphones that came with the unit are sufficient, but I thought they were uncomfortable. Overall, I would highly recommend this model!

A great buy!

Pros: Comes with handstrap, sporty headphones, radio feature, does not skip at ALL! Cons: Can be a bit heavy after a while if you are walking/running with it.
Bought this discman about a year ago and have not had a problem with it. It does not skip when I go jogging, has the radio feature, and is a sporty design with the handstrap and headphones. It's a great discman for working out, the only thing is that it can get a little heavy after a while. It was also pretty pricy (I paid almost $250 Canadian) but it is defintly worth it.

Great cd player
by donut_man23 ,Sep 15 '04
Pros: Atrac3plus can hold 25+ cds, radio and tv tuner, G-protection, good for jogging with Cons: Bulky, headphones that come with it
This is a good cd player for almost everything. The G-protection is great on this thing. Its great to run with. With the Atrac3plus I can hold almost 30 of my cds. The fm tuner works pretty good and same with the tv, weather, and am tuners but I din't use them much. It is a little big, especially with the hand strap.
