Pros: The ST25 doubles the recording time of the ST10, and updates the editing software. Cons: Not for audiophiles. But big improvement over tape recorders; editing software is first rate.
Summary: The ICD-ST25 is a step-up from the ICD-ST10, which I own and reviewed earlier. It roughly doubles the ST10's recording time: Stereo at 85 min; SP 260, LP 695. This is a solid improvement. The retail pricing is the same as ICD-ST10, $149. As an aside, ...

Pros: 3 recording speeds, playback functions, size, battery life, documentation and software Cons: The one button that controls folders, menu, and playback can be tricky at first
Summary: The ICD-ST25 is packed with features in a small case. The digital quality is very good in stereo mode, but the record time is limited. In EP mode, you get more record time than you'll probably ever need, but the sound quality is lacking. I prefer the SP ...

Summary: I'm a medical student and rely heavily on this recorder especially during labs and with the attending physician. I would say, this is a pretty neat voice recorder. It comes with a zippered leather pouch, and a PC connection cable. Overall design is slim,

Pros: Record time; adequate voice quality; sensitive; quick transfer and good editing on computer. Cons: Controls for playback absolutely frustrating.
Summary: This is the first digital sound recorder I've owned; I have used tape recorders before. So this unit is my introduction to the technology, and it has taught me that the technology is much better than tape. The drawback with this particular model is
