Brilliantly Built

by babyeddy7 Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 1000, May 20 '03
Pros: Sony brand, magnesium, 2.8 oz., style, lightspeed transfer, tiny, battery stamina
Cons: Requires ATRAC3 conversion, unit’s screen not backlit
Sony's 20GB NW-HD1 is smaller and thinner than 15GB, 20GB and 40GB iPods. In fact the new Walkman is barely larger than the iPod Mini (4GB), but has five times more capacity. Best of all the NW-HD1 has 30 hour battery life, five times more than the ...

Wish I'd bought an MP3 player, but damn it looks hot!

by wobbly , Jul 20 '03
Pros: Be the envy of all gadget-lovers.
Cons: Cruddiest headphones I've ever owned. Oh, and no uploading (like all Net MDs).
The MZN-10 is the top of the Sony MD line, in case you couldn't tell by its price. I bought mine fro ...

My Favorite Piece of Exercise Equipment

by crazy_ears , Jan 04 '04
Pros: Small, lightweight, sounds great and doesn't "skip" during vigorous exercise
Cons: Arm strap must be purchased separately; I don't like the headphone that came with it
Nothing energizes an otherwise boring forty-five minutes on the treadmill like the driving beat of some jammin' tunes, and for me, Sony's MZ-N10 Personal MiniDisc Player has been the perfect way to provide that energy to many of my work-outs. After ...

Borrowing without the intention of returning!

by colinlove , May 10 '04
Pros: My new best friend
Cons: It isn't mine to keep!
Firstly....do not be misled by my title...i will return it....eventually. This little gadget is lovely. I have borrowed it off my best friend, (we have a minidisc player at home, but not an MD walkman!) I like to go jogging. And for any of you that ...

100% Sony quality....
by dom_at_home ,Dec 09 '03
Pros: Small, lightweight, ease of use, recording software is very good once you've got the hang
Cons: Erm.....Expensive
When i started using my walkman, i was surprised how confusing the software was, but as soon as you get the hang, its very good. The remote stick is very convienient when on the move, especially when I do my paper round on my bike, i dont have to stop, take ouyt my walkman, mess with the buttons for a while, then carry on....I just do it on the move.

The reason i bought this walkman is so I could fit it in my blazer pocket to listen to on the way to and from school, when i recieved my walkman, i was shocked to find how light and small it was, one problem was that it didnt come with a minidisc....

The only thing i dont like about this product is that, unlike a cd walkman, you cant just pick up a cd and thats it, you have to go on the pc an copy it over using that.
Also, the sound quality isnt exelent, i'd only give it a 2, maybe its the headphones?
