Pros: Extremely portable, excellent sound quality, long battery life, ease of use. Cons: None I can think of.
My mom bought me this Sony Net MD Walkman MZ-N510 as a Christmas present because I constantly "borrowed" my sister's for my own enjoyment. I was amazed at the quantity and quality of the extra accessories included with my copy, such as a device which ...
Pros: Easy to use, unlimited storage, never-ending power supply! Cons: None.
Sony MZ-N510CK First I spent months of research trying to find the MP3 player of my dreams. I had specific requirements for that perfect portable music storage device. In addition to never-ending storage ability and easy downloads or copying I also ...
Pros: Small size, battery life, ATRAC3 Sounds better than MP3, media is cheap. Cons: DRM restrictions on MP3. Simple Burner doesn't support SP mode recording.
I've been a user of MiniDisc technology since 1999. I previously owned a Sony home recorder and a portable player. Unfortunately, the eject mechanism of my home recorder stopped working in late 2002, and I never liked the tedium of titling without a ...
Pros: Good sound, Good price, Good accessories. Cons: Recording function is almost useless. Files Checking (in/out) is almost a deal breaker.
I will not post the specs on this unit as many before me has already done so. I own the MZ-N510CK, the CK meaning car-kit. It comes with a remote control, a car remote control, earphones, a car cassette adapter, A/C power adapter, Car cigarette ...
Pros: Unit looks nice... Cons: Lots of problems, unit seems to be DOA, poor Sony tech support, lousy software..
Me and my dad are music enthusiasts. I own an Aiwa MiniCD player that I love. It is small, plays 8 cm CD-Rs, and I can put about 3 hours of music in Mp3 format on each disc. My dad liked it too but the other day he came to me with this new Sony ...
Pros: Great value, attractive and durable construction, excellent sound quality even in LP4. Cons: No optical cable supplied.... Thats all!!!
I originally, started out wanting an inexpensive way to take my music with me everywhere. I good friend of mine has had minidisc players since they were introduced and he convinced me to get one. I was originally looking at the MZ-NE410. I considered ...
Pros: Small, light, durable, stylish, long battery life Cons: SonicStage software is horrible. Slow transfer time.
This is the second MD player that I have purchased in two years. My first one did not have the NetMD technology and so I found it a chore to record and edit a minidisc. Now that I have this player, creating a disc is much easier. However, it is still ...
Pros: Fairly good quality by Sony. Cons: Could be much better.
[Features] Record from multiple source (PC, Digital In and Analogue In) - this is a very nice feature allowing you to dub from your fm stereo, computer, compact disc, and digital video disc. Net MD portable recorder MP3/WMA/WAV ...
Pros: cheap media, fast transfer, enormous storage and sleek design Cons: ugly headphone that you can't find replacement of similar cord length
I got this MD player over the past summer in Walmart for just under $150, and now I see on sale for $130. This MD player is wonderful, and I'm glad I made the right choice buying this lower end Net MD over the last year's models of regular MD that feature ...
Pros: good size, fast transfers, pretty durable, buttons are bigger, good battery life Cons: SOFTWARE SUCKS, no backlight, small screen
I bought an iriver mp3 player at first, then returned it because it was tooo small and i was afraid i was going to lose it. that thing was freakin tiny but it was still a great litte device. So i went with md since it was bigger and i was looking into ...
Pros: Accessories, light weight, optical line, battery life Cons: software, software, software. Transfer speed
This player is a great piece of work. It can be used for just about anything. The MD's don't skip and ripping straight from a CD is simple. The software is crap though, and almost makes it not worth buying. The software locks up frequently and is extremely slow. The LP4 format is a good and small format, but if you like bass don't even think about using it.
Pros: None Cons: It's a sony...Everything is bad about it
I can't belive I spent 100$ on this garbage. Save up the extra cash and get an Ipod! Screen doesnt work, not durable at all, skips, sometimes doesnt turn on. The software is horribly designed, I dont know what i was thinking buying sony. My friend has one, and works fine... I guess I got stuck with a sh*tty one. It's not worth taking the risk, I threw it away, and bought an Ipod. Couldnt be happier
Overall, Its garbage. It worked good the first 3 months, and sony tech support is the worst it comes.
Pros: cdrw type, small, I can record my songs from my mix board to this unit Cons: slow transfer to record from the computer, not durable!
At first I really liked this unit for what I bought it for. A small recordable unit to put alot of music on and hide at the same time. Well one day I dropped it, one time and this thing is DOA for recording and Sony while it is still under warranty wants $80.00 labor to fix. This unit is not durable and Sony knows it and they want to soak you for their inability to produce a tough product. I had a Aiwa cd player for years and dropped it several times worse than this MD and it still plays fine. So if you buy one, protect it and don't drop it
