Pros: Works with Sony TV and VCR right out of the box.
Cons: Not useful. Poor buttons

This remote is cheap, but way overpriced. It is functionally and ergonomically bad. It will not program some devices at all, and others only with very limited functionality. Bell ExpressVu satellite receivers cannot be programmed.
There is no tactile feedback from the buttons, many are too small. There is no LED to tell you when a device has responded. Its going back to Sears.

Cons: It's worthless

I bought it at Sears (1st mistake) the day after Christmas for $20 – what a bargain. Brought it home and couldn’t program a thing, including my Sony Direct TV box! I visited the Sony site and found nothing there of any value. Tomorrow, it’s going back.

Pros: Great functionality
Cons: The buttons do eventually wear away

I like the overall functionality. It has all the features I need to access my components, utilize the menus, and switch between components.
