Pros: Compact size. Deep bass response. Excellent build quality. Powerful! Priced right!
Cons: Little response at 20 hz. Somewhat hard to see Owner's Manual.
Summary: The subwoofer can make or break a really good sound system. The best models shake the listening room without adding too much punch to the upper bass. A lesser model will sound boomy with no really deep room shaking reproduction. This latter type can ... read more

Pros: Feel The Bass!, It's a Sony, Price, Frequency Range
Cons: Let Me Think... Ummmm, None!!!
Summary: Intro: I purchased this particular subwoofer online to complement my Philips FW-C380 shelf system. The system already has a "Subwoofer Out", so connection was easy with just one cable. Sony included speaker wire for those people who don't have a ... read more

Pros: Sounds great for music and movies, cheap.
Cons: No automatic shutoff, no remote.
Summary: This thing is just great. It's cheap and sounds great too. Don't let the 75 watts bother you-- that's plenty for most of the bookshelf speakers we're all going to use it with anyways. And it actually packs more punch than the 75 watts lets on. I ... read more

Pros: A good subwooofer that's priced right and doesn't take up a lot of room.
Cons: None. Don't listen to Sony tech support. They don't know what they're talking/emailing about.
Summary: This unit works perfectly. Not overpowering, just right. Don't listen to the people at Sony tech support who will tell you that this won't work without a subwoofer output on your receiver. It will. Further, to keep you from getting up to turn this ... read more

Pros: Great sound for any sized room.
Cons: Settings are hard to get right and may need to be adjusted for different movies.
Summary: The floor shakes, the couch moves, the popcorn trembles in your hand, and you've got it on the lowest setting. This subwoofer proves you don't have to be gigantic to produce theater booms and sounds. Packed into this baby is enough power to turn any room ... read more
