I have used Polk Audio speakers in my car stereo, and had good experience with them, so I decided to purchase the Polk Audio RM6600 system for my home theater. I purchased the subwoofer (PSW350) separately. Overall, I am extremely impressed.

I have had this system for over 2 years now, and it sounds just as good as the day I got it. The center and satellite speakers are perfectly matched, with a clear and fluid soundstage across all 5 speakers. The highs and mids sound excellent compared to other satellite speakers I listened to in the stores. Polk Audio has definitely impressed me with the solid construction of the speakers (each satellite is heavy, and even has the material in each speaker that slows down the sound wave and helps reproduce lower frequencies!).

The size of the speakers is also small enough to keep them from being obtrusive and overbearing in your living room / basement.

Highly recommended for exceptional sound quality for the price, as well as reliability.
