Reliability questionable
Summary: Okay, I brought my Olevia LT32HVE back in September. So I’ve had it for about 6 months now. I purchased this TV based on price and its great specs. Needless to say this is a pretty good LCD HDTV. Currently I’m using it as my main TV in an ... read more

Pros: Great Picture, Great Value, Great TV! Cons: Remote Control is Terrible
Summary: To put it simply, this TV has the highest value of any LCD model on the market. You get equal or more TV for your dollar with the Syntax Olevia than with any other LCD television. Period. Granted, if you want to buy a Sony WEGA or Sharp Aquos you will ... read more

Pros: nice picture, good styling, great price, only weights 40lbs or so, lots of imputs Cons: annoying to switch devices, for 150-200 more you can have next size up
Summary: after looking for an HD LCD for a long time I finally bit the bullet on the cheapest one I could find. That is this one I believe i payed 600$ for it including taxes. Great price for a great product so far. The "over air" HD signal I get turns out ... read more

Pros: Good profile, sits well on any cabinet. Cons: Terrible colors. Difficult to adjust.
Summary: I purchased this Olivia TV from Beach Camera in Mid March '05 because the price was right, and it arrived on time and as advertised. After set up with a Time Warner HD Box, I noticed that the colors were "washed out", skin colors were an orange shade. I ... read more

Pros: relatively inexpensive choice for people who want a bright picture Cons: picture quality and ease of use
Summary: This TV is for people who want an inexpensive flat panel and don't mind a few picture flaws. This dark-horse LCD delivers on price (if you are lucky enough to get the promised rebate), but not on picture quality and ease of use. The first thing you ... read more

Pros: Great picture, simple setup, an overall good performer. Cons: Unintuitive remote controls, mediocre sound, terrible company support.
Summary: The Olevia 32HV is produced by the Syntax Group, based in Southern California with ties to R&D and manufacturing both here and in Asia. While still relatively new to the consumer electronics market, I decided to take a chance with them as their products ... read more

Pros: Great value for its price range. Cons: Spongy remote.
Summary: Bought this unit at Buydig.com for $1,400 after Syntax on-line mail-in rebate of $300. Buydig.com had it at my doorsteps in 2 days. Now that's exceeding customer expectations. I was in the market for a bedroom TV. I quickly decided a flat panel TV ... read more

Pros: None Cons: Very poor image quality, slow response time, dead pixels, looks ugly in person, terrible sound
Summary: Syntax Group's new 32" LCD TV is surprisingly poor quality, given the good performance of its previous 27" and 30" models. The TV image is extremely dark for an LCD, and very, very coarse. I've never seen such fuzzy and dark images before, even at high ... read more

Pros: Most everything... love the side by side option vs plain old overlaid PIP Cons: speakers lacking but connect to sound system, actual output quality to it is just fine.
Summary: Very pleasantly surprised by this TV especially for its current price now down around the $1000-1100 level. No bad pixels... hard to beat 8ms refresh. Unlike others here I find nothing dark or abnormal about the picture that can't be easily correct

Pros: Great Price
decent picture
almost no glare
plenty of inputs Cons: funky Remote
bad speakers that you cannot detach

Pros: Cool case design with the blue stand-by light. Cons: Picture is low compared to others in the same (or lower) price bracket!
Summary: I bought this TV and hooked it up with DVI and all other HQ cables. The HD signal at my home is perfect, but no matter what color settings I used the TV was either TOO dark or TOO bright...yes I know this is common with LCD technology, but the 1200:1

Pros: Picture quality, design, price, made-in-USA Cons: Zoom aspect stretches screen, Paris Hilton looks like she is from a heavy-gravity planet.
Summary: Note the flame reviewer also felt the need to post the same comments on Amazon. BUT, he seems to be the sole person not very happy with this tv. Check out the positive reviews there. We love the set, and have it wall mounted. Great high-def. picture,

Pros: Picture quality, viewing angle, brightness, 1200:1 contrast, dual tuners, works out of the box! Cons: Remote control "feel" needs improvement - minor issue
Summary: WHAT I WANTED: I wanted a 26" TO 40" wall mounted TV to use as a computer monitor and a TV. LCD technology looked best, but the first generation of models had high prices and low specifications. I looked at Sony, Dell and Sharp mostly. My new Kitchen
