TDK (AID+440BX) DVD±RW Burner

I purchased this burner back in November as a Christmas gift to me. It came packaged with the Roxio easy CD/DVD creator 6 software package. At the same time I purchased DVDXCOPY XPRESS to burn DVD's with. The installation was a little tricky. Computer did not recognize it as a burner. Called tech support and they had me remove my DVD/CD ROM drives from the device manager and let windows reconfigure them. This workerd. I have not had a problem since. I have since backed up 75 DVD's, latest and most popular titles. A note on the DVDXCOPY software, it is very touchy with some systems, softwares, media types and other environmental situations. I advise you to go to www.dvdxcopy.com and read through the forums before buy.

This is a very good burner. It comes with some decent software and has an attractive price. One bonus is that this drive is whisper quiet, you can barely hear it. I have burned several DVD's with it and they all work perfectly on my JVC set top box DVD player and Sony Playstation.
