Rated a Very Helpful Review by the Epinions community
    Jun 4, 2006
Pros: Landline phones mean you will not be dependant on electricity
Cons: The buttons on top make it harder to see who is calling

Summary: Well, Hurricane season is here…On June 1st those dreaded words were broadcast on every television station across South Florida as well as all the major news networks… The recovery efforts are still going on down here, with 17,000 people still ... read more

    Pros:
    Cons:

Summary: The phone for my land line wouldn’t be a big deal except that cell phones don’t like to work in my house. I do spend a lot of time in my room either watching television or writing reviews. On the rare occasions where I need to buy a phone, ... read more

Pros: Easy to use, attractive, inexpensive.
Cons: Average analog voice quality; cords cannot be removed or replaced.

  • Not Worth It

Rated a Somewhat Helpful Review by the Epinions community
    Mar 29, 2006
Pros: The black color is a good choice because it hides any stains from your hands.
    Cons: Phone cord, display, directions

Summary: The curl cord between base and handset is only 1 foot in length, when in a tight curl before pulling on it, making it impractical for home or office use. This cord is locked in the base of the phone so the only way to lengthen it is to spend more money ... read more

    Pros: Cheap, functional
Cons: Caller ID display, handset does not hang firmly on the base when wall mounted

Summary: We had one of those old Trimline phones of before-I-was-born vintage mounted on the wall in our kitchen at home for as long as I can remember. Everyone was happy with that, but unfortunately it wouldn’t fit on the mount after we put in a DSL filter, ... read more

Pros: unlimited call time, easy-to-use key functions (like dialing, volume change), cheap
Cons: unnecessary parts, difficult to use after length of non-use, not very many features

Summary: I have had this phone for a number of years. It's rather strange: the phone plugs directly into the wall. what about the base you say? the cord between the wall and headset coils underneath the base, and the base mostly just serves to keep the receiver

Pros: One of the few slimline corded wall phones on the market.
Cons: Short non-replaceable cord. Unlit caller ID screen.

Summary: This phone comes with a very short cord, and it's PERMANENTLY ATTACHED on one end so you can't replace it with a longer cord. What in the world is THAT about?
