Pros: Best image. High definition TV
Cons: Price over comparable sizes from other manufacturers. Separate tuner, vs. integrated in other units.
Summary: Plasma screen televisions were side-by-side showing the same DVD. I watched for more than an hour, and the Hitachi 32" HDT had a noticeably superior image quality, compared to Panasonic and Sony models immediately adjacent.
