Pros: No more set working hours! Cons: The celebrity lifestyle really takes a toll on your Sims happiness levels. Hard making money.
I've been a huge fan of the Sims PC game since it first came out, and my only major disappointment so far is the online version. That and the fact that the latest Sim game Bustin' Out is not being released on PC, just on PS2, Gamecube, and Xbox. ...
Pros: A new area, and new gameplay - try to make your Sim famous! Cons: When will the expansions end?
If you have The Sims and all the expansions through Vacation, your Sims can choose a variety of careers... medical, military, slacker, hacker. But, they can't experience the fame, fortune, lies, and tabloids that accompany a Sim to the top of the heap ...
Pros: BIG SIMOLEONS and of course, the lifestyles of the rich and famous Cons: Rejection from Sims is like a conversation with Simon Cowell
In the Sims, the original game, you could live life as an actor/actress, but that was a bit too vague. In Livin' Large, you could be a singer, but that, too, was vague. Now we have Superstar, where you get to take a sneak peak in Studio Town as your sims ...
Pros: A great game to play with family members, and it is also really funny! Cons: NONE
The Sims Superstar is a great game. It is all about getting to the top and becoming the best star you can. There is new clothing, new furniture, (the most expensive on the furniture list) new books to read to help you get to the top, new spa ...
Pros: Great new items, paparazzi! Cons: Very time consuming, difficult to keep Sim's needs up.
The Sims is definitely a great game. Superstar is another fun expansion to add to the collection. It wasn't a standout expansion, but it wasn't exactly disappointing. Some of the new features that The Sims offers are many new items such as the ...
Pros: Great theme/idea...fun, new objects Cons: Not as easy as other expansions to play, uses more memory, slows processes
The SimsTM Superstar (EA games) was recently released in 2003 by Maxis. Superstar is the 6th expansion pack to The SimsTM PC series. It follows Unleashed, Vacation, Hot Date, House Party, & Livin' Large. The game ranges from a start price range of $27-30 ...
Pros: The idea of being a "Superstar" is nice. Cons: The game is too faulty, filled with too many errors.
If ever I have been disappointed in a product by EA (not including the quasi-famous THE SIMS ONLINE), it would have to be the well awaited expansion pack, "Superstar". On the first installation, I got errors on my computer telling me to install the ...
Pros: You can experience the life of a celebrity. Cons: It is a bit hard to become a superstar.
Well I think that the sims superstar is for people to know what it feels like to be a celebrity. Because when you start of it is all on easy street. But when you come to about 2.5 stars it starts getting harder because you have multiple choices. The good ...
Who wants to be a SuperStar? by nelodra ,Aug 01 '06
Pros: good for months of fun Cons: loading takes ages, and the game crashes at the worst possible moments
Let's face it: When my husband first bought the Sims for our children, I didn't even want to look at the game, leave alone installing it on MY computer. Well, that has changed: When he bought Superstar and I saw how much fun the children were having playing the Sims, I wanted to try it too - and became instantly addicted. Of course I've got several (aspiring) celebrities, and boy do I get annoyed with this stupid obsessed fan. I positively hate this guy, but that's part of the fun, too. I love to create superb settings in Studio Town, tailored to my famous Sims' demands - and of course the grand homes a superstar should live in.
Pros: New, fun, provides a real challenge!! Cons: your fun level goes down very quickly, hard to make friends with stars
I have bought every SIMS expansion pack, and the SIMS Superstar is my 2nd favorite (The Sims Unleashed is my favorite).
In the SIMS Superstar you get to have you Sim go to town and try to make it as a superstar. They will have to mingle with fans and other stars in order to make it to the big time. While they are on their way they have many different types of "star" jobs to do, such as modeling, singing, going down a runway, and staring in commercials, soap operas, and movies.
The SIMS superstar really is a lot of fun. It is challenging, so even if you think that you have mastered The Sims, it still takes some time to master Superstar. It also has a lot of new things that you can buy, including a new workout set, a wall-mounted television, and a satellite dish!!
I would suggest going out and buying this expansion pack, it really is a lot of fun!!
