    Cons: None noted so far!

Summary: Thermador 37 in. SGS365 Gas Cook top – We remodeled our kitchen last year and put in this fabulous stainless steel cook top as well as the matching stainless downdraft ventilation system. I was sold on Thermador’s quality and value after ... read more

  • It's OK but I've Cooked On Better

    Apr 19, 2007 by
    Rated a Very Helpful Review
Pros: Good price, looks nice, and the vent system works well.
Cons: Doesn't get hot enough for me.

Summary: I guess my biggest problem with this cooktop is HEAT. It just doesn't get hot enough. My last cooktop was a DCS. Yeah, OK ... it cost a lot more than this one does, but I found it had a lot more BTUs to cook with. Cooking on a WOK on the DCS was ... read more

Pros: Extralow burners, relatively easy to clean, attractive design, 5-star burners for more even heating
Cons: Difficult to clean between points of stars

Summary: We bought the SGSX365 cooktop a year and a half ago when we built our new house and we love it. Friends of ours bought one at the same time and I recently asked what they thought of it, to which they responded in unison, "We love it!" I love the ... read more

    Pros: Nice and dependable.
Cons: Buttons stick, lighting triggers erroneously when fire is low, burners don't always light up easily.

Summary: I've had mine for 2 years now, and use it everyday. It is good, but not great. The buttons stick, the automatic lighting triggers unnecessarily when on low fire, and the burners occasionally have trouble lighting up. ... read more

    Pros: Auto relight, surface area
    Cons: none

Summary: We have been using this cook top for 2 months now and we love it. Its very easy to use and the auto relight keeps it safe and simple. No more leaving it on high to start the burner. Just turn it to any setting and it clicks just long enough to light. And ... read more

  • Thermador Stainless 5 Burner with Xtra Low

    Oct 24, 2005 by

Pros: The unit, when clean, looks really nice, and capable.
Cons: Hard to clean up around star burners, looks aren't everything.

Summary: I bought Thermador as I had an electric SS Thermador cook-top in my last house which was first rate and well laid out, as is this unit now. You can place a pot on every burner and cook with a minimum of interference, which is important to me. What I ... read more
