Pros: Extremely useful for mixing, kneading and baking any types of dough or quick breads. Inexpensive! Cons: Stop function was not clear initially. I pulled plug at end of cycle.
Just one week after purchasing this machine, my husband can't believe how often I'm in the kitchen! I didn't even let my disastrous first loaf of white bread deter me. The instructions suggest making the white bread first and after reading the ...
Pros: very easy to use, comprehensive manual, tons of recipes, all around great product!!! Cons: handle doesn't sit flush with pan, makes bread removal somewhat challenging when hot
--Update at bottom-- I received my Toastmaster TBR15 as a housewarming gift from a Jewish friend who decided instead of giving us a loaf of bread as tradition to know no hunger, he would let us make our own freakin bread. ...
Pros: No more hand kneading and having to wash the counter Cons: Can't rely on it to make a nice looking loaf every time
The Toastmaster TBR15 Bread Maker is the second bread machine I've owned. I was very satisfied with my first machine, a West Bend, but when its loaf pan wore out, getting a new one was cheaper than replacing the pan and West Bend was not making full size ...
Pros: Small, easy to use, and makes great bread! Cons: Not a one.
I guess you call this an Epinions success story: after reading the positive reviews for this product--especially the one by "sweetie98"--I made the plunge and bought it. I wasn't deterred by "Oneiros11"s negative review: I figured if his broke on first ...
Pros: Small footprint, oversized viewing window, price. Cons: Relatively noisy, crust control useless, thin baking pan.
This machine is ideal for small families or couples/singles that want to make their own bread. After trying out a friend's Oster/Sunbeam 2 lb. model for a couple of months, I downsized to this Toastmaster. The footprint is small and the viewing window is ...
Pros: Price Value, Small Footprint, Quiet Cons: None
My mother and I were walking through Rich's-Macys housewares department when we saw this breadmaker in the middle of the aisle with a great price on it... Mind you both my mother and I already own breadmakers and have been making bread for years, but th ...
Pros: 1.Great value!
2.Easy to use
3.Comprehensive instruction guide Cons: The sides of the bread pan must be scraped after first mix cycle.
For months I had been sorting through reviews for several bread machines and had actually decided against this one because of the many negative reviews that it seemed to have gotten. Everything changed on Black Friday, however. I was shopping at Kohl's ...
Pros: Fast. Easy to clean. Anyone can use it. Cons: Couldn't figure out how to shut it off. Had to pull the plug.
I wasn't in the market for a breadmaker but one day my husband and I were shopping and there was a 10 minute sale on the Toastmaster TBR15 Bread Machine for half price. I figured for $15 how could I lose. I let it sit on the kitchen table for a couple ...

Pros: Compact, inexpensive Cons: Kneading blade gets stuck in bread, not washable
I have made 4 loaves of bread in this machine and 2 have come out well, and 2 have not. I am not sure if it was my measuring or what that made them come out wrong. It is kind of hard for me to get my yeast measured accurately every time. It was really inexpensive, and it is very compact, and it has a nice cookbook with it. I have a problem with the kneading blade getting stuck in the bread, and I have to tear up the bottom of the bread to get it out. I have trouble finding the ingredients where I live, but that's not the machine's fault. I also don't like that you can't immerse the bread pan to wash it. Seems to me like it should be washable.
Toastmaster TBR15 Horizontal bread machine is a CRAPPY machine! by cooksnook ,Dec 14 '03
Pros: NONE Cons: Dome melts plastic into your bread.
I purchased this for myself as a birthday gift as my old bread maker (not a toastmaster) was nearly worn out when the paddle was lost. It was going to cost $10.00 for a replacement paddle so I decided to just get a new bread maker instead. So I purchased this Toastmaster from WalMart and took it home. I did the first "burn" (it says to do fastbake without ingredients before using to burn off manufacturing oils). It filled the house with a terrible odor. Then the next day I made my first loaf and it came out burnt and it had fallen on light setting! But wait, it gets worse! The see through dome melted to the point that the plastic dome made drips!!!!!
I returned it to WalMart thinking it was just a single defective machine. But NO! When I got this one home,
it melted even worse during the fastbake than the other one did on the second bake! The dome should not melt and drip plastic into your bread!!!!!
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IF YOU WANT TO MAKE BREAD!!
Pros: It"s a good machine, I"ll recomended it, to anyone that"s looking for a good breadmaker. Cons: The only negative thing about it, Not big enough,
Excellent product.I wanted to make my own bread. It"s an excellent machine. What i hate is, that i lost the instructions booklet, can you help me get another booklet, please? Thanks a million.
Pros: Woks great, recipes easily converted from outside sources Cons: Pot metal workings of bread pan corrode easily
I really enjoy my Toastmaster. I have had several delicious loafs both from the recipe book included as well as one purchased from a book store. The recipes are easy to understand and the ones from the book were easily converted. The only downfall I have found thus far is with the bread pan itself. My pan was left in the sink, inevitably with water in the bottom of the sink. The water corroded the "pot metal" where the pan sits into the unit. This completely froze the mechanism needed to mix the bread mix. I am now in the process of finding a replacement. I hope it is soon so I can return to the yummy ways of bread making.
