Pros: Big screen, easy to use, Beautiful picture. Cons: Not bright enough, Susceptible to burn-in.
This is a 16x9 rear project television. You have the projection technology that projects and image on a screen. Picture quality I think my uncles statement sums it up. Projection televisions really have gone a long way. But ...
Pros: Widescreen aspect ratio, picture preference memory for each input, outstanding picture quality. Cons: At this price point there are really none to speak of
A couple of years ago I bought the Toshiba TW40X81 their then new 40 inch widescreen HDTV ready set, and I thought that I was in widescreen heaven. Well as technology would have it, I guess I was'nt ( although I still have my " little " 40 inch, it's...
Pros: Big, Widescreen, cheap, easy to use, pretty good image Cons: Hard to see from several view points, picture not as good as others
My best friend just bought the Toshiba 57 HD Compatable Widescreen Projection Television 57H81, and I just bought a 54" widescreen Sony projection tv. I was at his house a few days ago and we were talking about our TVs. His TV did have a slightly...
Pros: excellent fit and finish, lighted remote, great picture and sound, 2 component inputs Cons: no built-in hdtv reciever, to be picky? i would have liked a 3rd component input
This is my first ever writing a review. Usually i just read them and thats it. So excuse any spellings and grammar errors. When i wanted to buy my first HDTV, i did a week or so of net research and visiting the stores to see the models first hand. In...
Pros: Super Bang for the Buck Cons: Remote could be better
I used to own a Sony 53XBR45 rear view projection which would probably stand up well versus the nonhigh definition sets, but it pales in comparison to this baby. I paid $2,430 delivered with white glove service, and I have zero regrets. For technical...
Pros: Great picture even in lighted areas, Excellent HDTV with set top box Cons: Can't complain
After comparing several 53 - 57 inch widescreens, I opted for the Toshiba 57H81. Good price and the picture looked good even in the stores awful viewing conditions. I have been thrilled with this set. The High Definition picture is knock you socks off...
Pros: Beautiful picture,
2 sets of Component inputs,
POP mode (see review for explanation) Cons: No built in HDTV decoder,
Expensive
I bought this TV primarily for watching DVD's and I couldn't be happier. The picture quality is gorgeous and at 57", it's larger than life. Sound quality is good also but for the real experience, you'll want to hook it up to a surround sound system....
Pros: Great Picture, Holds picture setup for each input source separately, PRICE!! Cons: None yet
Just got the set,1 month ago but it is great. Previous reviews go into good detail on the technical aspects. I will just state what an average consumer will see. Good picture with ant/ dish input , will be better once I can get HDTV in my area....
Pros: Amazing value ($2k at Best Buy), crystal picture, intuitive setup. Cons: You'd better have a big room and really like to watch movies.
If you are looking for widescreen TV and the picture is the most important aspect, this is the TV for you. Pictures can be misleading in the stores so I did some research. From everything I could tell, their were distinct advantages to the Toshiba -...
Pros: It's a nice looking box with a very nice picture! Cons: I've had 2, both produced noticeable white noise at low volume. My only disappointment!
I have had two of these and for the most part am happy. The audio makes a white noise "hissing" at low levels. I think audio design could be much better. Over all it's a good HDTV Wide Screen TV.
