I bought this TV 4 years ago when I moved into a new house, and with few exceptions - couldn't be happier. The picture and sound are above average - just about as good as you can get without going HD. The 2 main drawbacks to this TV are the 1 tuner (no separate tuner for the PIP as mentioned by other reviewers), and the size & weight (you definitely need two people to move it). You can use the PIP with DVD, VHS, or with local stations (if you have a decent antenna). The biggest plus is it's reliability - I have had zero problems with this TV in 4 years. Overall - a very good value.
