Pros: Good battery life, bright screen, side "rocker" switch. Cons: Non-replaceable battery, poor included case/screen protection.
I've had my Toshiba e350 for about 2 months now and I couldn't be happier. I've seen some reviews that mention it as a great "starter" PDA, but in my experience, it can hold its own against most models. My first PDA/Organizer was a Sharp Zaurus, ...

Pros: Small size, very fast, good battery life Cons: Can't do wireless internet
I've used a Toshiba e355(same as 350) for about 2 years now. Although the model has now been discontinued, it would still be a good buy for anyone stumbling across a used model. The Toshiba e350 is a great starter PDA. The Toshiba e350 has very good ...

Toshiba e350
by dawn70 ,Jan 20 '04
Pros: Has bluetooth capabilities, easy to use, customizable, adjustable backlighting, comes with a power/usb cradle. Cons: Only one expansion slot. The Outlook 2002 software does not synchronize with Outlook Express.
I've just upgraded to the Toshiba e350 after having had a Palm m500 for a year. I was ready for some advanced capabilities, and I have not been disappointed. It was very easy to set up, and a lot of fun to customize. It's versatile, has a gorgeous display, a powerful processor, and very good sound quality. After taking the time to go through the handwriting recognition feature, it can now read my writing with a high success rate. I bought mine from CompUSA for only $149.99 (open box, but unused). I consider it an outstanding deal, since I got my m500 (no color, tiny screen, no video)for the same price last year. This is a great Pocket PC for beginners and pros alike.

Well worth the money
by miss_jasmin ,Sep 23 '03
Pros: Fast operating system, lightweight, great free (protective) case Cons: Not enough secure digital expansion tools available
I recently purchase the Toshiba E350 and I am VERY impressed with it! I commute an hour every day to work so I wanted something I could take back and forth on which I can do whatever work is needed. This is perfect. It's light weight enough to keep my purse "carryable" and slender enough to not take up too much space! The PocketPC 2003 operating system is fast and efficient. My favorite feature of that is the new Transcriber hand writing recognition tool. This allows you simply write on the screen in your own hand writing and it (usually) recognizes it.
Toshiba also makes a USB adapter that I have on order that allows you to connect any USB keyboard or mouse to it. The secure digital slot is harder to find "extras" for than a compact flash, but more are coming out for secure digital every day. By December, there should be a WiFi adapter available.

by shashidhara ,Jul 23 '04
Pros: Pocket PC 2003, Good screen, SD expansion slot Cons: No Wifi and nothing that I know off so far.
Good design, light weight and great screen. I have loaded Acrobat reader ans some games and it works really great.
Battery has good life. I use it to track my expenses and as an alarm clock. Ocasionally listen to music. I charge it only once in a week. Still holds more than 50% charge at the before recharging. Very good and bright screen.

Toshiba / Great Starter PocketPC
by faye_01 ,Dec 16 '03
Pros: Easy to use, great value. Cons: not really any to speak of.
I finally went out and bought a little PDA and the Toshiba e-350 was a great little deal. It is very easy to use by anyone. It has a great little stand for syncronizing with your PC. It does charge quite quickly. It comes with several programs pre-installed. A super Calendar, Note pad, contacts list, IE, Tasks list, Windows media and much more! I also found that there were several internet sites that you can download programs for the PDA such as quicken and MS Money.
Overall, a great starter PDA that is easy for all to use, and at a great price also.
