Pros: easy set up; solid video/sound; handles layer changes well; region-free Cons: limited A/V in/out; slow to open tray; clunky 'time remaining/elapsed' displays

Pros: Digital(TOSLINK)IN. Easy setup, warm sound, cheap, sub requires no external power Cons: underpowered, tedious to tweak individual speaker levels
picked this puppy up for a steal while buying 50 roll packs of teepee. For $150 more I would throw down for the Panasonic HTS-05(Ithink that's right). anyway easy setup, clean sound, quality components. Better speaker wire than HTIB's for hundreds more. Digital in is a plus for digital cable or satellite. picture is crisp. If you can get it cheap this is a no-brainer. I've seen systems from Koss and GPX selling for twice what I paid for the Toshiba.
