Pros: Pretty blue computer Cons: Hevy, slow processor, no memory expansion (512mb is the limit) crappy battery life.
A lemmon by any other name, total POS Toshiba knows about the video problems and refuses to repair the cold solder joints that cause the video card problem. I sincerely believe that Toshiba should be taken to court with a class action lawsuit on this one. I was floored when after less that 3 months my backup 5005 failed and when I went to get help I got none then when I looked for help on line I found that this was a known problem affecting 100s of users and Toshiba has hidden from the issue. Thumbs down on this one !!!

Other laptops on the market are half the price with the same features. So the logical action to take would be to buy the less expensive make and save money for software.
I don't own this laptop but I work for a big retail store that sells all major name brand laptops. This laptop has brought back customers with thank yous and very satisfied. I tend to see a few laptops come back do to pixels blowing out or freezing up but have yet to see it with this toshiba laptop or even any of the toshiba laptops. Toshiba makes one of the best laptops in the market today. Hands Down!
