Pros: Just about everything- CENTRINO Cons: Manual is installed on your hard drive
First off this is a great notebook with plenty of bang for the buck. Lets go down the list for the reason why I believe this is the ultimate Centrino laptop. After reading several of the new reviews I would still highly recommend paying extra for the C ...
Pros: Centrino technology = PentiumM processor, 802.11 technology, good battery life, performance and specs Cons: Flashy colored case. No serial port, grainy display, less than durable design but managable
This is an awsome laptop as to be expected for the price paid. I bought it for its 40GB HD, swappable media drive, USB2 & firewire port. Dual point devices are always a plus. 802.11 connectivity, didn't want it at the time but absolutly love it. I ...
Pros: Battery Life, Mobility, Toshiba, Wireless! Cons: Only a 40 gig HD, Win XP Home
Being a computer technician, I am not the most easy person to please. I always build my own computers, and am a constant tweaker! When it came to college however, I had to put that aside, I needed a notebook computer! I did a lot of research and I deci ...
Pros: Can run many apps. at one time, sleek look Cons: LEMON, horrible customer service, diminished battery, weak wireless device, heavy and big.
The LOWDOWN: Was sold a LEMON by Toshiba. Motherboard/hard drive crashed after 6 months, was "fixed" by Toshiba, then broke down again w/ the same problem after 2 months. Countless phone conversations and letters to Customer Service and got the ...
Pros: CENTRINO, all-inclusive features can satisfy anyone Cons: toshiba tech support, can be frustrating if you don't realize you can customize touchpad
i bought this toshiba a week ago, after spending quite a while reading reviews and looking at specs ...
Pros: speed and performance Cons: screen blackouts
Overall, very impressed with the Toshiba satellite Pro series. I also concur that the hibernation has issues which leads to blackout in screen occasionally. The overall speed and performance are great. For example, I am a heavy user of 3D simulators and 3d design programs, therefore I happy to report toshiba success in those applications (solidworks, newtonium, webots).
Pros: Built-in wireless connectivity, battery power, portability Cons: The video and sound are weak
This is the best laptop I have ever laid eyes on. It is fast, portable, and has incredible battery life. The sound leaves something to be desired, but I have never heard good sound on a laptop. This is well worth the $1200. I paid $1750 for it a few months ago.
